Not only architecture. That first part is a chant in Greek ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN to The ALMIGHTY, CHRIST HIMSELF. 600+ years before anything Muslim. The Arabic chanting is just as. Beautiful.
Super inspiring! I can tell a lot of work was put into these. It is interesting how the concept of a church meld so well into every culture and theme. I'm currently designing an idea around a permaculture and sustainably built church. Basically, trying to think about how the garden can be in the temple, so to speak. One idea I that love, would be having a small flowing creek coming out from the raised altar that's recessed into the floor with a glass walkway over it for people coming up for the Eucharist. To me, besides just looking beautiful, would be the symbolism of faith and walking on water, or the river flowing from the throne in Revelations. Stuff like that really inspires me, as well as making the building into a sort of atrium, where plants and trees can grow inside. Keep up the good work. I'm sure people are blessed through your efforts, and it is changing the world, even if in subtle or unrecognizable ways. Cheers
Thank you so much🙏, It's truly a blessing from the Lord to be able to work on these. I also think it's amazing that you can use almost any traditional style to build a church. Your project Idea sounds super interesting also an I can't wait to see how it turns out, we really need more creativity in the field of Architecture.

i think you should try a Appalachian orthodox style, even though there are a couple of orthodox churches in Appalachia it would still be interesting to see one made.
The overall design is stunning and perfect. My only critique would be the Iconostasis, which is bland and modern looking. Have you seen the ones from the Alexandrian Patriarchates Cathedral?
Do you recommend taking architecture as a major? Have you learned a lot? I was thinking about taking architecture to build churches since all of them(including newest catholic ones) are getting modernized and losing style.
I would, but It's only worth it if in addition to class assignments you make studying it and working on personal projects the majority of your free time. The course Is good for learning more technical things like structural engineering, material's, and construction methods all of which will be necessary in order to get a job or internship (I would also recommend dual majoring in architecture and construction science if your school offers it). However when it comes to design, other than a few basics like color theory and basic layouts, you will not learn much from the course work alone, especially for building anything that isn't modern. This is where you will have to work on personal projects in your spare time, these will also help a ton in terms of building a portfolio and standing out during career fairs for internships, as you will likely be one of the only students doing something non-modern. I'm only in my second year so my knowledge only goes so far, but I hope this helped.
