QUESTION: Zoom advertises this unit as being designed for acoustic instruments. Do these same effects work equally well with an electric guitar (i.e. a guitar with magnetic pickups)? Please answer only if you've tried this. Thanks!
Well I bought the thing. The output jack is truly a headphone out (which functions equally well as a line-out). So yes, this thing makes a great headphone amp.
Thank you for this very thorough demo. I heard distortion on all the presets, almost like a subtle overdrive on the low mids- Is that the a zoom or something else in the signal chain?
QUESTION: Zoom claims that the Output jack can be used for both "line out" and headphones. I cannot find a "headphones" setting in the manual that would allow the unit to know which output level I want. Does this unit properly support headphones with a correct volume level [as opposed to simply claiming that you can just plug a headphone into a "line out"], and if so how does it know that headphones are connected? Please answer only if you've tried this. Thanks!

@@sasongs would you happen to know of a way I could plug this into a mic for a harmonica and also into my guitar if I have them both plugged into the same amp. Or would I just need 2 of them?
I’m using is with nylons and like it a lot. I have a Fishman Aura spectrum and a Baggs Voice Print but I needed something that was inexpensive and worked on battery’s for outdoor gigs on the grass into a PA. The Zoom is better than I expected. It’s not as complex with its modeling but it works well with my Kremona’s and a Cordoba nylon. The feedback circuit is very effective and does not destroy the tone. Its very clean. It’s fun having the rhythm machine and looper on there. It’s not a very robust built so I’m carful to not step on the inputs. I could not find anything not to like about it other than the plastic but for the price….yeah, I would recommend it for anything but critical applications where you need the most pristine tone you can create and that’s not gonna be found around this price point. Even so, it holds its own with units almost 3 times the price and does a lot more than them. The menus are a little bit of a drag to navigate but once you have a patch set up and saved it’s not an issue. The effects are nice but need to be used very subtly. I’m digging it.
@@MatGurman your comment is very helpful thanks ! I have cordoba c7 ce nylon with fishman presys blend pickup onboard, I was not sure if I should get this pedal or something more pro, what other alternatives are there ? (the price gonna be much higher I know)
QUESTION: I have two adjacent patches, one with much reverb/delay and one with less reverb/delay. I alternate between two within songs and even in the middle of a chord. Can I change patches in the middle of a chord with no "click", no "pop", no silent gap, and with the reverb & delay "tails" continuing into the next patch? [I realize that to have continuing "tails" I must set "tail on" in the reverb & delay parameters.] Please answer only if you've actually tried this. Thanks!
hey man its a Yamaha SLG200N silent nylon string guitar. I love this guitar. it plays fantastic and pickups on this are amazing. Hey by the way I am a gear advisor at guitar center. if you needed any gear I will be happy to help you with good discounts. my EXT# is 3792

Not sure
I bought this pedal, but I'm afraid it won't fit my nylon guitar... would you recommend it?

Nice review... do you recommend it for small live performances?
Some of the presets are very like the older Zoom pedals, I can hear that bloody duck I swear!
