Finally, finally, finally I stopped praying for earthly things. My daily prayers are for sanctifying grace so that I can be with HIM and my Blessed Mother in heaven. So, finally, I know what I want.

Feels nice doesn’t it to realize how empty and unfulfilling earthly things are right.
It’s like a weight lifted off from your shoulders.
I remember when I used to desire a big house cool cars a smoking hot gf 😂even a hair transplant
Man was I wasting my time when I could’ve used that time to think about God and pray.
Praise God he freed me from that blindness and set me on the path to him. Amen

Father, you are absolutely correct, we don’t know what we want. I prayed for something so hard years ago and 40 years later, I pray in thanksgiving that my prayers were not answered. Hindsight is 20/20 but Jesus IS all knowing!

Ask the Father to help you believe in the true presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and he will not reject anyone who wants to come to him.
“Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,”
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
      48
I am the bread of life.”
God Bless and may the Father enlighten your heart to believe and have an unstoppable faith in Jesus Christ. Amen

And eternal life can only be found by believing in his true presence in the Eucharist.
If you ask the Father to help you believe in Jesus’ words of his true presence in the Eucharist he will grant it to you and welcome you to his Son.
Since he will not reject no one who comes to him.
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him [on] the last day.”

My brother place your trust in him who is all in all and existence himself.
      Read St John 16:23-28
      read St John 6:22:69
      Then read St John 5:39-40
And I promise you that once you ask the Father to help you believe in Jesus’ words he will grant you your petition, welcome to his Son and he will let you know what he wants from you.
      I promise you!
      God Bless

@@Catholic33AD Brother , quoting scriptures is great, but what is your own, personal experience of Jesus?

  • @Catholic33AD
    @Catholic33AD 17 дней назад +2

😅”I’m gonna start my own church over here”. I lol. Good thing I wasn’t sipping my coffee.
You know Father Mike, not to have one up on you or to add to your homily but I found todays Gospel reading to be in direct correlation with St John 6 I AM the bread of life discourse.
Believe is the key word on both passages.
And the I AM the bread of life cannot be a parable because it was given to his disciples to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. So scratch that idea.
And it can be symbolic since he clearly says in St John 16
“I have told you this in figures of speech.
The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures
but I will tell you clearly about the Father.”
In St John 6 IAM the bread of life discourse Jesus is clearly speaking about the Father how he is the bread of heaven that came from God,”But I told you that although you have seen [me], you do not believe.r
    37
Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,
    38
because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.s
    39
And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it [on] the last day.t
    40
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him [on] the last day.”u
“Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
    48
I am the bread of life.”
“What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?*”
“But there are some of you who do not believe.” Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe and the one who would betray him.c
    65
And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my Father.”
    St John 16
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.”
Unless you ask to BELIEVE in Jesus’ words of his true presence in the Eucharist then no one can come to him unless granted by the Father.
That is why Jesus stated in St John 5:39-40
You search* the scriptures, because you think you have eternal life through them; even they testify on my behalf.c
    40
But you do not want to come to me to have life.
Or you do not want to ask the Father to believe in Jesus’ words to come to him in order to have eternal life thru the Eucharist.
This one is for my Protestant brothers and sisters and my lukewarm Catholic brothers and sisters so that you may ask the Father to help you believe and so that he may grant your petition and welcome you to his Son in the Eucharist.
    Amen
