So, what do you think of the class? And do you think I should do more of these videos?
I have actually played a bit of the Marauder chapter with a custom Medusan race (think humanoid with snake tail). As a weapon, I used a scythe just because it was different than a normal sword (and it turned into a great tool for various things outside of combat too). I personally love it. It's a glass cannon that needs constant healing, but it also can cut down enemies quickly. It requires teamwork to use properly though.
I will hopefully get to play one in May! But good to know!
@thebeardedotaku1088 I will give some advice, the Focus Art "Flourish" is amazing, especially if you pair it with focused fighting style or Focused Hunter feat (since I use a scythe, I pick the feat at level 4, paired with Great Weapon fighting style)

I’ve not had a chance to play this class yet; though, at a glance, I just don’t see how you’re supposed to keep up damage wise with other classes.
You’re also *very* bonus action heavy. Dual wielding requires your bonus action and most finishers and abilities require your bonus action as well. If you do steal something from 2024 dnd, the nick property from something like a scimitar would probably help a lot, but then you aren’t using the new weapons.
I had been looking for a video like this for a while. My DM got Steinhart’s guide the day we were starting our first campaign with a new group, and I chose Jager as my first class and the campaign we were doing is the curse ofStrahd, so that works very well.

Im really confused on how momentum works. When you use the finisher do you spend all your dice and you have to build them back up or do you keep all your momentum die?
You spend all of your momentum and then you have to build it back up again. Hopefully that helps!
