Nice video. I like the fact that it's a bit taller. Perfect size between LD30 and the bigger ones like PD36 etc. But i don't know how i like the rubber flap for the USB-C Port. Not sure how long it will last...
I love my Fenix Flashlights but my PD 35 TAC just went Kinda green while using it and Poof it quit. Been using my E 35 with no problems. I've recommended Fenix to many people. Miss my TAC lite
Does the LD30R's LED have the same greenish tint that the LD30 has? I noticed they have the same bulb (Luminus SST40) but the tint could be coming from the lens.
Which flashlights are durable for everyday use ? The ones I have tried died after a few weeks or a few month ! I have tried LED Lenser, Fenix and Maglite, I have also tried some no-name flashlights which was more durable than the 3 formentioned !!!
i had the og ld30 ... and while the small brightness upgrade may be good for a ke, that size difference isnt the ld30 was a shirt pocket light. this little extra length makes it not so, this is the length of the pd35, and that isnt a shirt pocket light, great light but, not that kind of edc..i was looking for this video, and thank you for the side by side view, that is what i wajted to see, and made my decision not to order it. ld30 for a shirt pocket carry is the way to go, more length for a small increase on lumens, and probably negligible increase on candela... ld30 wins.
Yea maybe, but if someone in a helicopter, airplane, car or whaterver see's the SOS 3 short 3 long. That's a universal standard for HELP or SAVE OUR SOULS. A flashing light on and off doesn't really do that.

I did not personally notice any tint, the beam shots are ever so slightly greener than the color in real life if that helps any!
This is perfect for me if the rubber boot for the usb charger will go away.
I do prefer single thumb switch, double switches means double time

Personally sounds like you may not be caring for the battery sufficiently. What issues have you had when they die?
@@mikedakin1 Batteries was not a problem, the flashlight just teared apart ! JUNK !!!

Fenix never disappoints💯💯
I think it's SOS, not beacon. i wish Fenix has beacon mode, i feel like it's more useful
