I came to this channel because I saw a Yasharn thumbnail. He’s my boy and I’ve been playing him since he came out. Do not fear, the Pig shall rise again!
Ethan probably could have won if he would've killed Cameron 1st, especially when it was known that Cameron had the means of stopping his combo if he lived long enough to see his next turn on top of having the highest life total.
If I had a nickel for every game of Magic: the Gathering, premiere card game ages 13 and up that I saw end in that very specific manner, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. (The second was Prof’s Shuffle Up and Play with Kyle Hill as Brian Kibbler)
I agree with below that the assessment was off. I think removing Cameron was the correct call, and then focusing on Matt and keeping Jason low. That being said, another misplay was actually tapping the cephalid colosseum for mana during the combo turn, would have allowed some digging. It ALSO should have been attempted before scooping to the elesh norn.
Emiel the Blessed + Derevi + a creature (likely Spellseeker) + Gaea's Cradle for infinite mana into another win con. If Spellseeker's in play, you get Finale of Devastation. The deck is a non-linear adaptive combo deck. The decklist has a primer if you need more detailed explanations.
Holy what a nice finish. I was realy confused why he activated darevis ability instead of casting it. But in the end it worked out because of this. But damn i hate krarrk. For me probably the worst Deck because it feels just weird playing against a luck Deck in such a format
I haven’t said “no way” out loud while watching a gameplay video, but that win was so cool!
Even more impressive is that Matt convinced Ethan to point 21 Grapeshots at Cameron, which was the setup for the win. He foresaw it all.
Winning play was amazing. I do wish we could have seen more of oskar
The best feeling in the world is winning the game through some bizarre card interaction you only saw when you nearly lost it.
That was a very cool ending. In general a unique game with a lot of the normal win cons not being cast.
That was one of the coolest ways to win a game of magic
I gasped when I saw that win. Tons of great twists and turns

Awesome win. Exactly why EDH is the best format.

imagine dying to some one tapping your city of brass wild
Wow that was an amazing way to win the game.
That was a neat way to pull a win! Great game!!
That win was so clutch lmfao
incredibly unique way to win a match, GGs
that's the coolest way to win ever
Hell yeah our beloved trash gremlin Oskar!
The webcam footage seems to be particularly laggy this time, sad.
As a Derevi player in cEDH, that hurt my soul. 😬
Nice winning play!

@Ethan: This is why you run lightning bolt in every deck with red
It's in the 98! We promise!
this is a warning to everyone to not listen and comment before watching the video
Such a cool way to win
Derevi for the win. Let’s go.
Ethan could have cracked his Cephalid Colisseum to look for more answers ='(
Awesome win nonetheless
If the Derevi player sees this, what's you win goal, I see the blink/Flicker, but who do you cast it on, and what's the outcome you looking for?

@@SmoothBrainEDH the primer was very short, ans didn't explain much to a newer player like myself lol
Awesome end ngl
should have got spell seeker with recruiter. and then got ephemerate into crop rotation
though that line is less impactful after the elish norn board wipe i still think its the right play.
Crazy
Why does a two color deck like Yasharn have CoB?
His deck can’t really play fetch lands, and taking afew damage is alot better then having to mulligan a good hand just because he only has 1 color.
Yasharns text hurts everyone which makes me sad because I thought about building Yasharn at one point
Love seeing the Krark and Sakashima player fizzle out and have both commanders die to Elesh Norn... justice.
That was unexpected
Jaw? On the floor.
Jason did nothing that game. I wanted to see some rubbish action!
*im-PLAK-able* not *im-PLACE-able*
The politics is real

This wasn't cedh at all but a game of unreasonable politicing
