I don't know, but some seems to be made "industrially", i mean that it's too fast, quick, we just run, kill. It's too much for me. too much noise too, it's a little stressful, that just made me want to turn off the console and take a rest^^. So i think this kind of games couldn't match with me. but still interesting some seems lovely and more "magical". I'm sorry i'm not a big gamer, i play only to 3 games (and i even stop to play to both of them), so i'm not really at my ease with little games like that, that seems to consume a lot of time, concentration.
Comprehensive, very nice job!
Emmm….Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2? They were considered one of the greatest games of all time for a very long time?
how many of these are modded? i know for a fact a few of these are, and they look very different than they do vanilla. please don't use modded footage when compiling a list like this, it makes it very inaccurate and now I have to question if the games i want to look into will actually look the way they are presented here.
At first I thought maybe he was skipping turn-based isometric games (even if a lot of these aren't isometric anyways)... and then I saw Banner Saga. But uh... since he opened the door, where the hell is Final Fantasy Tactics--arguably the greatest isometric JRPG of all time--on this list? Definitely some good entries here, but no Starcraft, no Commandos, no Age of Empires II, no Super Mario RPG.
If you want to make a "Top 50 Isometric Games of the 2000's", then I get it. This says "All Time".
Ask yourself "what is isometry" and delete quite a few games from the list.
Most games are not isometric. Isometric means if the x,y,z axis are all in a 120 degree angle to each other. Most games here use a type of axonometric projection. Some games are just simple top-down views.
thanks for effort bud
What is the game on thumbnail
the fact that Neverwinter Nights 2 (because of Mask of the Betrayer) and Baldurs Gates 1 & 2 aren't here while you put absolute stinkers like Undecember in it...makes the list VERY questionable
Where is te commandooooosss ?🥺
what game is the thumbnail?
Expeditions: Rome and Expeditions: Viking
Which one is the thumbnail?

Unknown games, not even isometric. You should write in the title that it's a list of your favourites, not the best.
