i’m 15 learning to do my own crochets because my family doesn’t really know how to braid tight enough for the crochet to last or either their hands start to cramp fast so this braid pattern helped me a lot 😩❤️ .
This braid pattern is GREAT Breanna: I am a beginner braiding my own natural hair and this video answered so many of my questions and has given me a new confidence in doing my own protective hair styles. Keep up the great videos. Thank you.😀.
I've been slaying my own hair for as long as you've been alive (LOL) and my micro and other braided styles are show-stoppers. But I'm only 2 years into my Crochet journey and one struggle that I've been trying to overcome is achieving a braid pattern that doesn't leave 'gaps' anywhere. My fronts are great, but lately I've been trying twists, goddess locs, etc., and this pattern is just what I needed for the sides and back to lay just the way that I want them to!!! THANK YOU for being a Beautiful, Well-spoken, Fully Demonstrative RESOURCE for us!! :-)
Yes my mom would do latch hooks in the 90s when I was little and she showed me how to do it like this. So when the latch hook trend became popular i already knew.
Finally, someone that speaks my hair language!🥰 I too, have thick fine hair (4b/low porosity, natural approx. 8+yrs). Oh, and the shrinkage is real!!!... But when I prep my hair for wigs/crochet braids, I have to incorporate synthetic hair (for stability) into the these braids otherwise my natural hair will unravel. Also, I couldn’t ever knot crochet braids onto especially my edges (for month😲), my hair would scissor off in that section! Thanks for all the hair tutorials! 💐
Worked really well for us. One of the best patterns I've used. My daughter has natural hair that has never been relaxed so it is quite voluminous. This pattern is probably the flattest one that we've ever used. I suggest feeding the ones on the top underneath the ones in the back for an even flatter and consistent pattern. Intertwining those in the top with the back produced a slight bulk. I think we experienced this because of difference in hair type. This is my favorite pattern by leaps and bounds. Thanks for sharing.
I do this! I hated the common patterns everyone used...and they never understood why I didn't like the standard pattern, I always hard time trying to explain this pattern and why, but she/you have the same type hair that I do so, I guess that's why you/she came up with a similar braid pattern...it makes all the difference with this/my type of hair.😍 Finally, a pattern I can relate to and like! No one ever does it this way (I sew it down flat, instead of crocheting it through the other braids)... Love it👍🏽
I've been looking on RUclips for a few weeks for a video that shows how to pattern the braids and tie the hair to the braids. I almost didn't look at this video because I thought it was like the other videos. Thanks so much for doing this amazing tutorial!💕💕
I love this because it's very simple to understand and the braid pattern didn't make me look at this like it was a crazy thing to follow thank you so much
Thank you sooooo much!!! This video is extremely helpful. I’m someone who had no clue how to do this, and because of your video I’ve done this successfully several times! God bless you!
This looks great for crochet hair like that!!! I'm doing faux locs & i think this would be too many braids in the front for those but now i wanna go buy some wavy hair & try this!!! Gahh y'all make me want to do so much with my hair!! Great video!
I want to thank you. I have a mixed daughter. And I've been doing black hair since I was a kid. But I truthfully think THIS was the most HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE video for ANYONE! I mean I LOVE your techniques. I mean the science behind it is SPOT ON! I love how full, natural, and radiant that look is. The braiding honestly I've never seen anything like it, and is ALOT easier. I appreciate you so much! I would LOVE to see some more kid styles too!!!! Like different things I can play with, with her hair. The other day I lucked up at my favorite beauty store a city/county over from me. (I'm in tn, and the city over from me is Murfressboro) and literally lucked up on quality hair for $1.99 a PACK YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! And I've been eager to bring it out! AGAIN THANK YOU!!!!!!!! You make this momma VERY happy, proud, and confident!!!!!
So neatly and beautifully done. You make the braid pattern look so easy. I am hoping mine turns out better like this one next time. Thanks for sharing 🤗
Thank you for mentioning that you have a lot of hair but the hair is thin. I'm older and my hair is thin. I may add braiding hair to my corn rows to support it. Your crochet pattern is great. I plan on trying it soon. I appreciate your video.❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Queen! U have such positive energy it just SHIIINES, like a bright sunny day. This tutorial was super informative and very well presented. Tfs
Thank you so much for this pattern! I was looking for decent braid patterns and tutorials, and after trying yours...my crochet faux locs turned out lovely!
Thanks so much for your video. This is the first braid pattern that I actually understand how to do other than straight cornrows going back. I'm installing my first crochet braids today.
The cornrow pattern is a great idea. As a veteran doing hair, you probably didn't even need to part the back, just start at the bottom and zig zag. I can recall doing something like that before. As you mentioned, nobody's going to see it.
Thank you so so much for these videos. Doing hair has always calmed me. Your teaching technique is amazing and easy to follow. My technique has gotten a lot better when I do my daughter s hair thanks to your videos.
I ust wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for watching my videos. Thanks for the tips, I've been struggling trying to do my first crochet (yes im a beginner) lol but you just came through sis ..loved your end results as well , thks again
This was one of the best explained videos I’ve watched for braid pattern under crochet braids thank you I don’t know how to Conroe but if I keep watching this video I believe I can do it.
Cute hairstyle 👸🏿! Can you do a how to video on installing full lace wig by sewing it in ? I looked through your videos to make that sure that you didn’t one have already before I asked but I’m going to double check myself just to make sure! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much ❤! I don't really have a preference on what type of unit to use but if I had to choose ....I would have to say curly since the wig I have is an body wave type of unit
Love love love. I’m about to crochet my hair and I’m going to do this pattern but a little larger. My hair is relaxed and thin. Not as thick as it would be if it wasn’t permed. Anyhow my braids have to slightly larger because he twist are chunky. Just learned from another video to make the braids (your hair) the size of the twist, loc, etc
Thanks a lot for this video! I wanted to see how you pulled under the front braids but I think I got the picture. I'll have my mom do these braids for me
Thanks! Make sure to click the bell on my subscribe button and TURN ON PUSH & EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS because I got a FIRE tutorial coming up next!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥

I am a beginner braiding my own natural hair and this video answered so many of my questions and has given me a new confidence in doing my own protective hair styles. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you.😀.
The fact that you did your own hair with nails though! 🤩🤩🤩

I thought the same. I wouldnt do it with long nails. it would drive me nuts....LOL!!!
Her nails aren't that long. Nice length.

I agree , smaller pieces to the front gives it a more natural look. Love it 💓
Crochet hairstyles have been my go to for years now i just love how quick, easy, and natural looking they can be
This is the best braid pattern ever!! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair! Thanks for sharing!!
The finished look is lovely! And I appreciate the pro-tip to do finer knots at the front! Thank you for making time to share your knowledge!
This is how I always braid my hair in the back. We did this for our latch hook braids in the 90’s and it still works for me in 2018 😊
Yep!!!
Yes my mom would do latch hooks in the 90s when I was little and she showed me how to do it like this. So when the latch hook trend became popular i already knew.
KW you and your mom are awesome 😊
Naturally Dunn Hi, with this braid pattern can you wear hair up? Thanks
Damn right!!!
Your eye makeup is beautiful and that hairstyle looks fantastic on you.
That back braid pattern is EVERYTHING!
This will always be my to go to. I am a beginner and it looks great. So thank you

*dense fine hair (same by the way)
