i’m 15 learning to do my own crochets because my family doesn’t really know how to braid tight enough for the crochet to last or either their hands start to cramp fast so this braid pattern helped me a lot 😩❤️ .

This braid pattern is GREAT Breanna:
I am a beginner braiding my own natural hair and this video answered so many of my questions and has given me a new confidence in doing my own protective hair styles. Keep up the great videos.
    Thank you.😀.

I've been slaying my own hair for as long as you've been alive (LOL) and my micro and other braided styles are show-stoppers. But I'm only 2 years into my Crochet journey and one struggle that I've been trying to overcome is achieving a braid pattern that doesn't leave 'gaps' anywhere. My fronts are great, but lately I've been trying twists, goddess locs, etc., and this pattern is just what I needed for the sides and back to lay just the way that I want them to!!! THANK YOU for being a Beautiful, Well-spoken, Fully Demonstrative RESOURCE for us!! :-)

This is how I always braid my hair in the back. We did this for our latch hook braids in the 90’s and it still works for me in 2018 😊

Yes my mom would do latch hooks in the 90s when I was little and she showed me how to do it like this. So when the latch hook trend became popular i already knew.

Finally, someone that speaks my hair language!🥰 I too, have thick fine hair (4b/low porosity, natural approx. 8+yrs). Oh, and the shrinkage is real!!!... But when I prep my hair for wigs/crochet braids, I have to incorporate synthetic hair (for stability) into the these braids otherwise my natural hair will unravel. Also, I couldn’t ever knot crochet braids onto especially my edges (for month😲), my hair would scissor off in that section! Thanks for all the hair tutorials! 💐

Worked really well for us. One of the best patterns I've used. My daughter has natural hair that has never been relaxed so it is quite voluminous. This pattern is probably the flattest one that we've ever used. I suggest feeding the ones on the top underneath the ones in the back for an even flatter and consistent pattern. Intertwining those in the top with the back produced a slight bulk. I think we experienced this because of difference in hair type. This is my favorite pattern by leaps and bounds. Thanks for sharing.

I do this! I hated the common patterns everyone used...and they never understood why I didn't like the standard pattern, I always hard time trying to explain this pattern and why, but she/you have the same type hair that I do so, I guess that's why you/she came up with a similar braid pattern...it makes all the difference with this/my type of hair.😍 Finally, a pattern I can relate to and like! No one ever does it this way (I sew it down flat, instead of crocheting it through the other braids)... Love it👍🏽

I want to thank you. I have a mixed daughter. And I've been doing black hair since I was a kid. But I truthfully think THIS was the most HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE video for ANYONE! I mean I LOVE your techniques. I mean the science behind it is SPOT ON! I love how full, natural, and radiant that look is. The braiding honestly I've never seen anything like it, and is ALOT easier. I appreciate you so much! I would LOVE to see some more kid styles too!!!! Like different things I can play with, with her hair. The other day I lucked up at my favorite beauty store a city/county over from me. (I'm in tn, and the city over from me is Murfressboro) and literally lucked up on quality hair for $1.99 a PACK YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! And I've been eager to bring it out! AGAIN THANK YOU!!!!!!!! You make this momma VERY happy, proud, and confident!!!!!
