An original parody\cover of a classic completely re-done from scratch in the studio with the iconic guitar lead and swapping out the words with Agile Product Management glossary. Nothing serious - all in the name of team-building with loads of fun in the process of making the audio & video. Thumbs up if you like our humble attempt!

Listened to original song yesterday and this came up in the recommendation.
It's tough to say which is the best.
Now, only one question in mind... Did they use scrum for the making of this video ??? But we all know the answer.. of course not :D Probably they poured all the footages over one good video editor and he/she completed it hours before the deadline :D

The "Agile Rhapsody", besides the fun\entertainment\educational aspect of it, was also to show my Product Suite that how the "Agile" mindset can be applied to almost everything we do! It doesn't need to be credited to IT alone!
For some history, the "Agile Rhapsody" was built from scratch. I DID NOT use a karaoke, but everything you heard was played and performed virtually including the iconic guitar lead, from the comforts of everyone's home along with team members, musicians and Sound Engineer. Only thing I borrowed was Queen's melody. #ThanksToFreddy #ThanksToQueen #WeAreNotWorthy
From a "work" perspective, my product team used Gitlab to host two 2-week "scrum" sprints. In the first sprint, I completed the "first feature" for developing and delivering a fully lyricized, produced and mastered Audio track. It had several interative stories in it that were assigned to multiple talent team members. I "showcased" it to ensure I was getting constant feedback from a few folks (leadership customers) to ensure I was compliant legally, in-line with the "spirit" of the song & satisfying the "agile" idealogy.
2nd sprint was devoted to video production. And followed the same process. I had OKRs (objective key results) tied to the entire production so I had a way to measure success.
I know this answer will not appease everyone, and I thoroughly understand that :) Its not about perfection in what we do, but understanding that it is okay to fail, but fail early and fail fast. And we can't do that unless we iterate in small chunks. If the first chunk is great you move on, but if we fail, we go back to the blueprint to fix it before we re-try.
Thank again to all Agilists who prefer "growth" mindset vs the "fixed" mindset. Thank you to all my agile and non-agile peers around the world for commenting and also supporting. Whether negative or positive, it only makes us grow stronger in how we can learn, re-adjust, deploy, celebrate & repeat. Stay safe & healthy!
