I grew up on Albert St, Woodridge in the 90's..I remember playing social grade basketball at Marsden High Monday nights in those days, going to Currency Cafe in Kingston by the train station & Boys Town which was a drop in centre for the youths, blue light discos....God I miss those carefree days.
Thanks Exploreman for sharing this video of Logan City in Queensland. Can you make a special video of Raby Bay,Teneriffe,Coorparoo, Toowong and Bulimba, please ?
Hi NGANYA - yes no worries - if you look back at past video walks I have done one on Toowong and Coronation Drive also Coorparoo - but I will do those other areas you mention 👍👍👍
Land use Logan City is a growing residential area, with substantial RURAL , rural-residential, commercial and industrial areas. Logan City encompasses a total land area of about 957 square kilometres. RURAL areas are located mainly in the southern, western and eastern edges of the City. Much of the rural area is used for sugar-cane growing, dairy farming, cattle grazing and horse agistment and breeding.
Hi mate, I love your video so much! Could you do an episode of Rochedale South in the time ahead? Cheers! I won’t consider Logan areas as a destination to move in due to the crime rates there which are pretty high, especially when you are raising your kids. But what impressed me was the barbers ads on the wall saying mans hair cut from only 15 bucks WOW…
Compared to some 'rougher' areas in the UK, Logan looks likes paradise ;) Could you do a walk along the esplanade at Wynnum at some point please ! Stayed there with relatives in 2005! Have fond memories of the place. Thanks
The so called "hoods" in australia are beutiful they might be rougher in general and have social problems but they really are not lacking opertunity its really what you make of it as long as you work hard and watch your back youll be fine atleast we dont have the gun crime like america and other places.
28 years ago i had to hide in the bushes at the Woodrige train station with my weekly pay money in my pocket waiting for the train at night crapping my pants.
Yes - understand that- I am going back there to do more - - I said on the video that Woodridge/Logan is much bigger than the area I covered. By the way Daisy Hill is part of Logan
