Hey, just fyi, the shell discoloration has nothing to do with sunlight and it is actually not 'sun' damage; the best way to avoid / postpone the process is to air them every once in a while, so simply take them out of boxes and packagings and let the plastic shells 'breathe' fresh air for a bit. They are extremely likely to get discolored when kept closed in a box or plastic bag for a long time.
Interesting, I did notice there are mixed responses to what causes this damage. I only had discoloration on one tama (ocean) until I moved to Florida, and then I kept them in storage for at least a full year. Now my white morino shell looks like actual dirt 🤣 (at least it's kind of fitting, I tell myself) I also have a V5 that developed dark blue streaks, which even stained the white cloth bag it was in. I think the latter was caused by heat, but I couldn't find anyone talking about that issue. Morino was in a polyester bag though, which I will not be using again. Blehh.
I love this way of organising tamas and v-pets! I also run mine according to season/occasion! I'd love to see your collection for other seasons as well :D
I live vicariously through you. Been watching your videos since 2013 and I wish I could own 0.001% of your collection lol. I love that My Family VPet and I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
Aww, thank you so much for watching my videos all thise years. I really appreciate it! 💖And yes, the My Family v-pet is elusive. I’ve never seen one for sale all the years I’ve collected.
inspired by someone who probably ruined a good chunk of other people's chances to re-live they're childhood? Anyone with more than 2 of these is a crappy person. This is the equivalent to 40 year old video game collectors that hoard games.
Tried to message you on Instagram but you don't have messages active. I'll try here. Do you have any of the Tamagotchi guidebooks for the Osutchi and Mesutchi gameboy game? Was wondering if you could provide some scans or images? I've done guides on the other two gameboy games and this is the last one I need to do. Although there's a lot I haven't been able to figure out in this game.
Good queetion! I’ve heard of people who have run tamas for 99+ days on vintage pets. The counter stops at 99. Not sure about the color or connection tamas. My guess would be that it’s endless if you take good care of it (or until the battery dies) but not sure 🤔
I love the idea to sort your collection into seasons. I also prefer running Tamas depending on which season it is 😍
Yes, me too! Hope I’ll be inspired to run more now 😍
I remember gifting my sister a Tamagotchi when I saw your video! Now I wanna buy one again, good to see you on youtube again :)

@@Ajlez This is actually a well-known fact in other toy-collecting communities and they air their collections frequently to avoid discoloration :)

Just out of curiosity, how long could it live with good care? 🤔🤔
