I saw Fin Fang Foom on the notification i was like "OMG! There's a new Fin Fang Foom." 🤣🤣🤣then i read the description🤣🤣. All these years and Fin Fang Foom still look good. I agree we need another retro Hulk with a new Doc Samson.
A 30 inch Fin Fang Foom. Yes. A Hulk wave. Yes. A Mythic Legion Dragon. Hell yeah. Thanks for your efforts on this review XManny. It's great to see some old GOATs getting their YT screen time.
Man I remember being a kid going to Walmart with my allowance specifically going to buy this wave. And oh boy they were $27.97 ea 😂. Target was $24.99. We were at a recession at that time and legends went from $7-$9 in 2000- 2005 then $12- $14 in 2006/2007. So seeing this wave at double/ triple the average price in such a few years was shocking. I only got She Hulk. I remember the rest, besides classic Hulk, was peg warming the shelves bc they were so expensive and ppl priority wasn’t toys at the time. Also the quality was sh*t lol. Ah dark days for legends.
Oh I remember the recession. Thankfully I got a big promotion from my job at that time to be able to afford things. But the recession still sucked my wallet dry. But yeah, I got my wave just randomly stepping into a Target in the morning and the employee was taking them out fresh out the case. I told buddy, I’ll save you time and work as I took the whole case in my cart 😂
I didn't buy Hasbro figures until Apocalypse wave. I had all the Toybiz characters I needed, and was not impressed by the lack of paint. So I never saw this Fin Fang Foom figure. It's not bad for Hasbro. I saw a review of the Wolverine, and how it scaled, and that won me over. Having all the characters the correct size is more important to me than extra paint.
Most of the figure from the dark days were really bad but at least they added paint back then. If they did airbrush styled highlighting now it would add so much to the line.
I was so blessed to be able to get this when it came out since it was in 2 waves and usually what happens is we get the first wave then poof nothing... yea it is awesome ! Not too sold on an orange one though :P I only can see one orange character which is Ben Grimm The Thing, although Tigra in the not so garish version is ok
No ML Haslab this year, obviously, but maybe Fin next year? I believe that him and Apocalypse are the only two original large size BAFs that haven't been redone. (I doubt Apocalypse would fund though.) I wonder if that Mythic Legions dragon will have any affect on Hasbro's decision process. That thing is amazing. I am definitely going to get it. It will probably be at least $600 though.
Hasbro and other toy companies will have to pitch for the Marvel right come 2025. If Disney give their Marvel IP to another companies we may never have a Haslab FFF. My greatest desire is to have a classic Haslab Apocalypse, like the ToyBiz BAF.
I sold off my fin fang foom last year because it bothered me how tiny he is now compared to our haslabs. The more time that goes by without a new fin fang foom makes me regret selling him...
If they don't loose the licence next year they will most likely use the dragon man body and stick a new (or this old) head on like Cho'd/Abomination/Rhino
Bobby Vala mentioned Hasbro may lose the Marvel license. Well this figure just goes to show how much Hasbro has cheaped out on collectors over the past 10 years or so. Yes they have some pretty nice ones this year but the prices they ask for is ridiculous.
This rumor circles around every few years about them losing the license. They won’t. I don’t buy it. I never buy into that. Disney knows no one can mass produce like Hasbro to meet their production quota.
@Xmanny87 thank you, Manny, for not giving into the hype for clicks like others on YT do. I hate going through the sky is falling stuff every few years when it's based on nothing.
Yes they can bro. They did it with Galactus, Sentinel, and Giant-Man and many others that they topped Toybiz on. What further proof do you need from that? I don’t doubt them. Anything from the dark days can easily be topped.

LOL! Still love talking about Fin Fang Foom no matter what.
When I got out of collecting altogether, this toybiz baf series started and I immediately regretted stopping. Went back and got this one 😂❤
I am on a strict budget but i am already working on how to get that Mythic Legions dragon no matter the price 😂
It looks godly!

My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Btw, we need a new Doc Sampson.
I’m dying for the day we do
Was REALLY hoping it was the Big Bertha tutorial 😢
Was just staring at my foom thinking how under appreciated that figure is.
That’s why I had to show it some more appreciation

I think I only got the Absorbing Man from this wave.

Four horsemen mythic legions take notes
I’m hoping for a Hazlab one I wouldn’t care if they made an orange one
I wonder if they’ll give us a color option to vote? 🤔 or maybe we can just order the color we want.
2007-2008 A Dark time for Hasbro 😔
We need a new red she hulk 😅
I’d love to see it
Nice throw back 👍
Thanks bro 😎👊🏽
Hulk wave would be awesome but it would be mad expensive depending on how many hulks hasbro put in
lol that’s probably why they don’t wanna do it
Dang, still holds up.
Yup
A WILD FING FANG FOOM APPEARED
😂😂😂 I understood that reference

I used to have this one, but I had to let go of it as well, because of some serious life events. It's something we got in common.

Thanks 🙏🏽
I found this on eBay about 15-20 yrs ago and got him complete for £90. He was going for a lot more than that at the time.

I know you’ve told me this before. But I think your patience will be rewarded when we get a new one.
I’m hoping the next one is 30 inches tall.
@Xmanny87 i hope so man! A 30 inch foom would be a dream come true

Dang my daughter was one years old. lol
Time flies man lol

Hasbro can't really improve this sculpt IMHO, but the 2025 Mythic Legions green dragon...HOLY SHIT

The wings just look silly on this thing. Otherwise, cool figure.
No views in 11 seconds, bro fell off
And why do we fall? So we can learn how to pick ourselves up. 😏
@@Xmanny87 but 11 seconds is a long time
