  • Thinking of buying a new Jawa Classic 350 in 2024? This video is a must-watch! We'll provide all the information you need to make an informed decision. The iconic Jawa Classic 350 is back for 2024, with a brand new look and exciting features. In this video, we take you on a comprehensive review of the 2024 Jawa Classic 350.
Leave a comment below and let us know what you think of the new Jawa Classic 350!
The Jawa 350, priced starting at Rs. 1,99,000 in Delhi, has received updates for 2024 and is available in three new colors: Obsidian Black, Deep Forest, and Grey. The Jawa 350 Chrome series also introduces a new White color alongside existing options like Maroon, Black, and Mystique Orange.
In addition, alloy wheels are now offered as an option, costing Rs. 10,000 more than the wire-spoke version. The alloy wheels come with tubeless tires, which simplify puncture repairs compared to the tube-type tires on the wire-spoke models.
Powering the Jawa 350 is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 22.5bhp at 7,000rpm and 28.1Nm at 5,000rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. It's tuned for strong low- and mid-range performance, making it suitable for city commuting.
The bike features a double cradle frame suspended by a 35mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers with preload adjustability. With a longer wheelbase of 1,449mm, it offers enhanced stability on straight roads and a confident feel in corners. It also boasts a wider 130-section rear tire and 100-section front tire.
For braking, the Jawa 350 comes equipped with a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both supported by dual-channel ABS. Weighing 194kg, it offers a generous 178mm of ground clearance.
Design-wise, the Jawa 350 sports classic elements such as swooping fenders, a teardrop-shaped tank, and a robust side panel, reminiscent of its original design.
Competing against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350, the Jawa 350 stands out with its more powerful engine and modern features, making it a compelling choice in the cruiser segment.

@@wheel_updates During the 60~80's, there were no bikes available except for the Yezdi (aka Jawa), the Bullet (Royal Enfield) and the Rajdoot 175. Where was the choice ? Whatever bull shit was handed out was accepted by the customers. The vespa (aka Bajaj) was priced around Rs. 2000 and commanded a 100% premium only for the fact that the waiting period was around 10 years ! None of these bikes were anywhere near a decent bike, worth the price demanded. All bikes were absolute shit, with nothing worth mentioning. So today, the same shit is driven down the throat of the customer in a new avatar ! Tell me the sales figures of this bike and then talk. You can't fool the public today, like you did 40-50 years ago (when we were youngsters). Jawa is nowhere on the international biking scene. It's only here that it is being trumpeted.

Thankyou for the comment. It's true that the 60s to 80s had limited motorcycle choices in India, like Yezdi (Jawa), Royal Enfield Bullet, and Rajdoot 175. The market has evolved significantly since then. Today, people are more focused on looks and design, often prioritizing these aspects over price. Their design is often considered more appealing than that of Royal Enfield bikes and other cruisers at the segment. While Jawa may not dominate internationally, it holds a nostalgic and cultural significance in India. Modern consumers have a wide range of high-quality options to choose from, and the success of any bike depends on meeting contemporary standards and expectations.

@@wheel_updates Though I am not appreciative of Jawa (it's a personal choice, after all), I appreciate your view point. Royal Enfield has improved only in recent years, effectively so, since Mr. Siddhartha Lal took reigns. And though I have owned three Bullets, my opinion of the bike is still bull shit ! However, the Bullet manufactured now is really really good, what with the Interceptor 650 creating world wide ripples ! I have bought the Interceptor in 2019, as I have owned Triumph, Norton, AJS, BSA and other British era bikes, in my younger days, as also I have owned, Honda, Yamaha and others. In fact, the RD350 Yamaha is my all time favourite bike, with a challenge that no other bike comes even close to the RD in all respects ! With all these factors, the Jawa has no place, but a small place in the market and no appreciable value. However, I do agree that the bike may be good and that the company is doing their best. I have tremendous respect for Mahindra (MandM) as their SUV's are unparalleled for comfort, drive and longevity. My best wishes to Jawa.

Thank you for sharing your detailed perspective with such extensive knowledge and firsthand experience with various vehicles. I agree that the Interceptor 650 has indeed been a game-changer and has garnered global acclaim.
Your love for classic bikes like the Triumph, Norton, AJS, BSA, and especially the Yamaha RD350, is truly commendable. The RD350 is legendary, and its performance and charm remain unmatched for many enthusiasts.
While Jawa occupies a different niche it targets a specific segment of the market, While it may not be as globally recognized or historically significant as some other brands, its revival has mix of classic looks and modern features. Mahindra's support has also boosted its quality and reliability.
Thank you once again for sharing your insights, and I look forward to more engaging discussions!
