I purchased 6 or 8 items that Mel designed. I just purchased two of her new skirts, too. You should check the skirts out when you get a chance. Love how you go through each shirts and review it. I also have a closet full of Lily Silk clothes, it’s the only brand I order regularly from. It’s a matter of personal taste, though, I prefer the matte (crepe de chine) or semi-matte (habutai) weaves over the glossy satin (charmeuse) and the casual styles over the dressy, the two-pocket shirt is my favorite (I wish it came in more colors). I’ve been so happy that they’ve cut the delivery time from over a month to under a week now, they must be warehousing inventory in the US, where I live, rather than shipping every order from China.

How do you take care of your Lilysilk silk clothing? Do you dry clean them, or hand wash at home with gentle detergent? Are the Lilysilk blouses ok with gentle handwashing?

Hi Irene, how do you iron this silk, looks so delicate?
I use steamer iron to iron the silk. It works very well for silk. Some iron come with it and other iron you just need to switch to the silk, so it won’t damage the material. Omg, I don’t know if it make sense. My English is really poor😅

We are the same measurements. Which long sleeve do you feel fit you the best without being rolled up? I am wanting to purchase my first shirt. I am picky about the sleeve bunching at the bottom. I realize our arms may not be the exact same length.
