I believe someone incorrectly stated that Flea plays triplets during the chorus. While it is true that he is playing three note groupings, they are not triplets. They are single eighth notes for the low notes followed by two sixteenths for the high notes. If they were triplets the line wouldn't have that "gallop" feel to it and every note would have the same duration in length.
