I am a proud owner of Lancer diesel. Same 2008 model. What a car. Though the ingress and egress is little difficult, once you are in, the comfort and ride quality is awesome. No new car of same category comes close to it.

I've never been in a Lancer. But been in something similar, the Cedia. Almost ten years back I went on a trip from Chennai to Bangalore on my father's colleague's Cedia. He knows I like cars and long trips so he asked me to sit in the front passenger seat, putting my father in the second row. That car was just WOW, it was an amazing experience and I'm recollecting memories of it. Motowagon please try and make a video with the Cedia if possible.
I was having Japan made Lancer bought new in 2009 and used until 2021 with out any single repair when I was working in Middle East. I am proudly says Mitsubishi Lancer is one of the best car,💕my Lancer.
People nowadays say Toyota is best in built quality.. but once there was Mitsubishi....... 💯

I recently had a chance to get a ride in this vehicle at Trivandrum. Fantastic ride on the highway from Poovar to trivandrum.Really liked the travel in this vehicle despite being very low.
This is definitely a head turner car even till date. Era where engines and cars were built for quality and pure driving pleasure that can last for decades.

@@vijaysigamaniv5123 Excellent car to drive.. Very good stability on highways as the car is wide. Diesel it used to give 18+ with AC on and petrol it used to give 14 with AC on. Especially the back seat gives very good comfort for long drives.

Biggest highlight of this car is the handling … u sit so low , combine that with a great steering and brakes , it is absolute joy to ride…. You can maintain 120 in even single lane state road because of this agile nature ….. this can give tough fight to a 3 series or even a 530d series …. Such a lovely handling car ….

You are really educating our people about safe driving 🚗, I would like you to add two more points to your three point safety
1. Please ask our people to avoid keeping their kids in front seat. ( serious injury during sudden braking or Passenger airbag deployment)
2. Avoid keeping idols or any hard plastics on the Passenger side Dashboard area( Passenger Airbag area) which may cause serious injuries.

This has been my dream car since i was a kid, i really wish they had this perfect sporty Sedan now. Buying used one for this model is not longer a good option because they are either mostly refurbished or almost nothing is stock :(
Mitsubishi stopped Lancer and came up with Cedia, which was also nice, but not as good as Lancer :)
Globally they had Lancer evolution - which was even more a perfect sporty sedan.

Lancer is my dream car from my childhood ❤ Yes it's a less powered machine in india but the handling and ride quality it offers is un matchable. The design is ever young. A well maintained Lancer look younger than a newly released sedan in terms of looks. Govt's old car scrap policy is confusing, that's why I was little confused to buy lancer. Instead I bought Altroz Diesel, Another great handling machine as my first car. Pls do a video about New scrap policy of Govt and legalities behind purchasing & maintaining papers of 15+ years old vehicle
