About the 2nd one, the castle at main street, Eddie Soto said in an interview he didn't even know that himself when someone asked him about it, but because it is somewhat similar, he stated that he must have done it subconsciously. However, if you actually hold a castle silhouette over the building, it does not line up. It's a fun "secret", but one of many that have an obscure history.

Obviously, language would not be an issue. BUT a trip there would also give you the opportunity to learn another language! What a chance to learn French. In my youth, I was stationed in Germany in the Army. My wife and I were driving through Belgium, and it was getting late. We pulled into a campground. I went to the building, where there was a woman standing on the porch watching me approach. I asked, "Do you speak English?" She threw her head back and laughed out loud. "Young man, you are younger than I! YOU should be speaking French!" I was humbled. And yes, I did learn (some) French before we took our big trip around Europe. And Spanish. And Italian. Enough to get around.

More Amanda please!!! Chris, I did not know about these secrets! Whoa! I learn something new every time! The skulls on the top AA’s on Pirates of the Caribbean! Incredible! I’m in awe of this park!! I have another pirates of the caribbean fact: so I read in Jason Surrell’s pirates of the caribbean book that Disneyland Paris was originally going to get a set of Audio Animatronics for installation in the early 90’s…but Disneyland had to complete a refurbishment on Pirates of the Caribbean in 1990 and they needed the AA’s Paris was going to get. So Disneyland Paris was getting brand new AA’s and those were definitely not going to the domestic parks. So I found that to be fascinating! Wanted to share that with you! The last one in England by Severn Lamb (they also did Animal Kingdom trains, but those are Diesel hydraulic.) I wondered If the railroad/river boat "dueled" whistles (Shave & haircut)? I love the fact there is a drop mid ride of Pirates. DLP Main Street seems to rival WDW's in gingerbread detail. Esp. steam off coffee cup. Thanks Again for presenting such a wonderful park!.
Even language barrier in Japan is not a problem. Maybe when it comes to understanding what's going on during some rides and shows, but not really for getting around etc. I think until you go to a foreign country you don't realize how little you actually really need to interact with other people. As long as you have your English park map and show schedule it's all you really need.
