Chris played for us 7 years ago, terrific cricketer with a lovely personality, in the Herts Premier League really pleased for him to have made a career in the game and seen the world.
The current state of English cricket means that Lancashire have never once been able to put out their strongest 11, in any form of cricket. There's a whole team of international cricketers constantly missing.
This Lancs team, staff and management are a disgrace. Chris Green has been utterly brilliant since he arrived and I'd love to see him back but whether he'd want to play with this team again is questionable. Without him, the team would have been all out for 51. A Lancashire League club would do better. The high scorer in the top 6 was a 16 year-old with 14. It's abysmal. All counties need to understand as well that The Hundred, while perhaps fobbing them off with some cash, is ultimately going to help destroy them. They need to get together to stop it.
