@@davidhayes3237 Yes, it’s the largest sewage works in the city and one of UU’s most important assets in the North West. Hopefully, the only fans that can smell it are the away fans, that’s why we’ve shoved them up in the north east corner.
Hi Nick great views as normal. I'm just wondering if there's a mistake been made on the installation of the East stand barrel cladding. By design, there are slightly different patterns in the cladding in the centre of the barrel that look like diamonds. They are in twos, but the one nearest the North end ( sewage farm end ) only has one ? It might be me but it doesn't look right ?
Not a mistake, it’s the approved design. The ‘diamonds’ are air exhaust vents and the size depends on the number of extraction fans from e.g. the kitchens.
Steven: it's to do with what lies behind and the number of vents. If you look at the vent grilles on the scaffold-like towers that can still be seen in the remaining barrel-clad gap, you will spot that the left-hand one has 2 vents and the right-hand one has a single vent. So, there should be another 'single' rhombic port-hole soon enough. You will see similar differentials on the West Stand.

Still at lot of external work: finishing the barrel cladding on both sides, solar panels on the south stand roof, the excavation and completion of the water channel, final paving on the main fan zone plaza, final seats in the south and west stands, northern perimeter fence and the ‘Everton Way’ paving stones.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Plus benches, balustrades, tree planting, tree baffles, baffles to the North Stand overhang, and baffle arches over the Everton Way (they have started the "+" shaped foundations for the 14 baffle arches).

I'd imagine on match days, the site will be for ticket holders only, couldn't have 20,000 extra people showing up for safety reasons. On non match days, you will be able to visit the club shop, bars and restaurants, or do stadium tours. There may be exceptions for training or ticketed events on the fan plaza. The seats will all be Blue unless a Sponsor pays heavily for their Logo in the seats, the EFC white seats were withdrawn at planning stages.
Yes, the terraces will remain concrete. However, the Lower Promenade (LP) 'bench terraces' are meant to be finished off in another material. But as the whole layout of the LP has changed form those on the plans, we may be left wondering about that for quite some time (I think that is a Q that is included in the LoR Droners' Tour Q&A's).
Paul: the material is anodised aluminium, which means that it's been industrially, chemically-treated to be pure, bright aluminium and it's encased in man-made lamina to preserve it by preventing oxygen permeating to the aluminium.
When’s your tour Nick? Be good to find out why the brickwork leitch pattern is hardly visible/isn’t there, why there’s no ‘EVERTON’ & ‘EFC’ in the seating as per the design and if they’ve made any other changes which make the stadium more generic? Wonder if the club crest is still going to be put on the outside?
The ‘Everton’, ‘1878’ and ‘EFC’ in white seats was on the early draft plans, but the final approved plans have all seats blue. White seats will only be introduced if a sponsor wants to pay for their logo or name in white seats.
@@DarrenCowzer-cx7ot so there’ll literally be nothing on the stadium to say it’s Everton’s? Even West Ham have got their rented stadium dressed up so you know it’s theirs.
@eddie_1878 - the fan plaza will be full of Everton Banners on the lampposts, I'm sure the Everton Shop will have lots of branding too, maybe down the line, a Large Everton Crest will be allowed?
@@eddie_1878 West Ham’s stadium isn’t in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, like BMD was. Historic England and the council wouldn’t allow the large Everton sign or our badge on the outside of the stadium as part of the planning permission process. The docks are no longer a UNESCO site due to ‘over development’ but the area still has heritage protection through local planning policy. I wouldn’t rule out a sign or our badge appearing in the future, but seems unlikely at the moment.
Hi. On the East Side there will be 8 'portholes' of which 2 will be single rhombus-shapes as opposed to double and there will be 11 on the West Side with, I think, 3 of them being single rhombus-shaped portholes.
Floodlight technology has moved on dramatically over the last 2-3 years, they are now relatively very small. If they have been installed, they may be tough to spot!
any one know why were not allowed any signage on the building?Ive heard its due to heritage restrictions, whatever thay are.but if thats the case how come the m@s bank arena is allowed to slap a big signage up but this place isnt?
Yeah, due to the heritage restrictions, not allowed a big Everton sign or our badge on the outside of the stadium. There will be EFC banners in the fan zone plaza and under the north and south stands though. No idea why the M&S Arena are allowed to have external signs. Probably down to local politics.

Do you ever go the Chinese supermarket from near where you set off from? It's boss 👊
Is that the final finish on the terrace/mezzanine steps or will that be paved aswell?
Yes, the terraces will remain concrete. However, the Lower Promenade (LP) 'bench terraces' are meant to be finished off in another material. But as the whole layout of the LP has changed form those on the plans, we may be left wondering about that for quite some time (I think that is a Q that is included in the LoR Droners' Tour Q&A's).
@@davidbadcock2225 that’s a shame they look abit naff compared to all the other paving
Looks amazing, I worry this barrel cladding will all be rusty in 10 years and will look unsightly. Do you know if this is the case?
That won’t happen 👍🏻
Aluminium lasts up to 40 years before degrading, I'm sure that these will be treated and maintained to the highest standards.
Paul: the material is anodised aluminium, which means that it's been industrially, chemically-treated to be pure, bright aluminium and it's encased in man-made lamina to preserve it by preventing oxygen permeating to the aluminium.
Can I ask what the music is please?
Hi Diane, which track did you like?
@@misterdroneuk Hi the first one especially, however they all sound great .🙂🙂
When’s your tour Nick? Be good to find out why the brickwork leitch pattern is hardly visible/isn’t there, why there’s no ‘EVERTON’ & ‘EFC’ in the seating as per the design and if they’ve made any other changes which make the stadium more generic? Wonder if the club crest is still going to be put on the outside?
The ‘Everton’, ‘1878’ and ‘EFC’ in white seats was on the early draft plans, but the final approved plans have all seats blue. White seats will only be introduced if a sponsor wants to pay for their logo or name in white seats.
I think also Dunc confirmed previously that the Large Everton Badges on the outside of the stadium were not approved in planning.
Anyone know how many windows sections will be in the barrel cladding on each side? Will it be the same on both sides?
Window sections? Do you mean air exhaust vents?
@@DuncTheBlue1878 yeah 😂😂
Hi. On the East Side there will be 8 'portholes' of which 2 will be single rhombus-shapes as opposed to double and there will be 11 on the West Side with, I think, 3 of them being single rhombus-shaped portholes.
@@davidbadcock2225 Nice one mate cheers for letting me know 😀👍
@@bluestar9810 You're welcome.
Are the floodlights installed yet mate? Great vids as always 👌
Floodlight technology has moved on dramatically over the last 2-3 years, they are now relatively very small. If they have been installed, they may be tough to spot!
The floodlights were installed many months ago lads 👍🏻
Robert: the floodlights were installed in 2023 on the walkway that goes around under the roof in the trusses on each stand.
Thanks David 👍
Pitch won’t b turfed till next year I’d guess no point laying it when not in use until next August later around March I’d guess
No. Pitch won’t be laid. No turf. The pitch will be sown in August, and it’ll be a mixture of natural grass and artificial 👍🏻
@@DuncTheBlue1878 ye they inject it I know all that doubt it’ll b done massively early
any one know why were not allowed any signage on the building?Ive heard its due to heritage restrictions, whatever thay are.but if thats the case how come the m@s bank arena is allowed to slap a big signage up but this place isnt?
Yeah, due to the heritage restrictions, not allowed a big Everton sign or our badge on the outside of the stadium. There will be EFC banners in the fan zone plaza and under the north and south stands though. No idea why the M&S Arena are allowed to have external signs. Probably down to local politics.
@@DuncTheBlue1878that no signage thing is gonna do my head in everytime I go I didn’t even realise about echo arena being allowed their sign but not us the club need to be having a word with the council over that
@@Sutty0151 Yeah, it’s frustrating but everyone will know that magnificent stadium is ours and, if they don’t, they’ll soon find out

why do you do so much of the outside of the ground, 12:18 then you do of the inside of the ground, today 28th june
you didnt show much of the inside,
Anyone notice when the small pitch went as i did not notice
Over a week ago 👍🏻
Love your vids but can you change that music😂 electronic instrumental be way better
Spurs looks a lot smarter
Everyone's banging on about logistics 😆 goodison is in a far smaller compact area with absolutely terrible amenities to accommodate parking public transportation, sandhills and kirkdale cope ok at moment with the fans arriving and goin home , so why cant sandhills cope this ground as in bmd is about arriving early morning making a day of it so not everyone arrives at same time and about mingling after game is over so not everyone leaves at same time just as it been at goodison for 132 years you do all know goodison held 78k at one time , so bmd will cope very very well with logistics the expertise of the health and safty people will of known this no way would they have a top class stadium and not of thought of it all so stop worrying about something that dose not need worrying about , the only fans that should be allowed near the stadium in transport is the disability fans , any able fan can walk from sandhills or hall road or from city center its as simple as that , taxies shouldn't be anywhere near the stadium in my opinion
Bit of a hike from Hall Road. 🤔
We should all start a petition to change Blackstone st / Boundary st to EVERTON WAY 💙.
Might be a bit confusing that because ‘Everton Way’ will be under the south stand
Blue Stone Street 💙
I hope our roof withstands the heavy rain, Christ did ya see Dortmund last night, it was like old Trafford was the other month
😂
Great video again Mate. Any idea as to were the team coaches will pull up on match days. Those gaps in the West stand steps look like underground car parks? I don't think teams will be walking up the steps to an entrance do You?
NW corner… they’ll drive through their own designated gate on the NE corner, drive under the north stand overhang
@kevalino2 So when they coach letting off the away team where will it park? I can't figure it out unless it's u Der the West stand. What are the large gaps for? I'm thinking they drive.in there
@@Graveson-ys6zm the team coaches will park by the media compound (West Stand)… you can’t see it now but the entrance for the players is there. It’s not like Anfield where they drive under the stand. The west stand gaps are for supporters and they’ll have access the turnstiles that are hidden now. You’ll have to go back a few months to see this, it has been covered mate 👍🏻
The team buses will pull up to the base of West stand steps, to the middle entrance and enter by foot, unless the weather is inclement, then they exit the bus at the NW corner and walk under the steps from that end.
@@kevalino2Only if the weather is bad. Otherwise the get off the bus at the bottom of the steps, middle entrance.
The quality of your videos are brilliant as usual, you always catch something different and I'm sure if you zoom in on the parimiter of the pitch area you can see the dock walls 🧱 thanks
