This is such fine piano-playing, can't imagine how it could ever be played better than this. Madame Berrut has such a deep understanding of this music, a delightful performance. And something about this Bösendorfer piano, I think perhaps it has better harmonics levels than certain competitors. Thank you to all for this fine performance!
Mozart has always been a challenge to execute, because his music is so innocent and serious at the same time, especially regarding his piano concertos. His relation with piano concertos remains rather similar during the entire span of his life. There it is hard to notice usual developing path a composer usually shows with the flow of time, as he grows and improve his skills as an artist and il connoseur of his mastery. This is in fact his farewell-work to this type of compositions, containing some sinister moments more than previous works. He was already facing problems of the perception of his music, his glory in aristocratic circles started to pale, his life expectations had already showed unability to match financial effects and it reflected his entire being. However, his music and playing skills weren't showing any decay in sense of losing its breath. This performance is a beautiful example of making the most appropriate volume of orchestra and modern piano instrument, and Mrs Berrut edited a superb experience with her sensible treatment of keys as usual. All of us who know her playing are used to it and expect only great artistic pleasure.
Mozart is such a delight. I did not used to appreciate him. My uncle, a pianist, was a great fan. I asked him to help me "get" WAM , beyond the hits i already loved, like the Requiem....next morning i heard him playing something, very gorgeous and emotional, i came down and asked him, "who was that?" was it Schubert? Uncle Donny, with a big smile, "Mozart" Then i got the complete Sonatas played by Kempff and Uchida...Everything Ms. Berrut plays is so finely done, it sounds like she has thought about and is able to enunciate every phrase, sentence, all the punctuation....delightful. a joy.
I love all of Mozart's Piano concertos, but the No 27 is a beautiful piece of music.... Simple sounding melodies makes for enjoyable listening... This performance is one of the better ones... Bravo
Hervorragende Pianistin.
QDB.
I've been listening to Amadeus for the 9th time, I don't know why, on whether it's the melody, the orchestra or the pianist, but one thing I know is that when the pianist is as lovely as this one, I"ll keep on looking more than listening
Her comfortable and graceful and beautiful and wonderful performance is off the charts, and a inspirational gem

You need to hear Ingrid Haebler play Mozart, complete solo works and concertos.
She makes everything look so easy, the somber looks light, sounds delightful, I cannot but just sit back and relax

O no?
Bella esecuzione comunque. Bel pianoforte. Grazie
hervorragend 😆
This concerto adds nothing to the achievements already attained in K271 and K466-K491.
Listen again.
@@roberthill799 Don't need to.
Charmante interprétation ; peut-être un peu conventionnelle ? 🤔
