  • The Outpost true story is explored, including the historical accuracy of the movie in relation to the real Battle of Kamdesh at Combat Outpost Keating in Afghanistan. During the fact check, we introduce you to the real Clint Romesha, Benjamin Keating and Ty Carter, portrayed by Scott Eastwood, Orlando Bloom and Caleb Landry Jones in the movie. In examining The Outpost real story vs. the movie, we also look at the historical accuracy of Benjamin Keating's death and Robert Yllescas' death, both of which are depicted in the film in the lead up to the Battle of Kamdesh at COP Keating.
To learn more about The Outpost true story and historical accuracy, read our History vs. Hollywood article here: www.historyvsh...

Can’t blame the CO who is trying looking out for his career. His only mistake was sticking too much to the rules and not using his wit and tell from the obvious someone is getting shot.
