WOW, A Yaqi Fan-girl, that is one great collection of Yaqi brushes. I'm a Yaqi Fanboy and I have to agree with most of the reviews. The Cashmere 24mm knot is one of my favorites because I use it daily for brush washing my whole face and it does not bother my eye lids and it is a work horse for the last 2yrs approximately of daily use. If a person has very sensitive skin the 26mm Red zebra is one of my favorites for a gentle scrub and excellent lather painter. If a fellow likes a nice overall scrubber with soft cloud like soft tips and excellent lather painter I really enjoy the 24mm or 26 mm Tuxedo knots, hard to beat those type of knots IMO. Good to let folks know a general overall of your thoughts on their softness & backbone of brushes available(I think you influenced me). I have a bunch more coming in with natural 2 band badger and 1 silver tip but the mail service has slowed down a lot lately and almost takes the fun out of ordering Yaqi brushes from Canada. Great Video and your brush collection has really grown lately.
@@majasmagic Finally got a chance to use my Yaqi HM Silvertip and have to say it is great, 1st shave was not sure about it, 2nd shave the brush kicked up a good lather just as fast as my synthetic brushes and the tips were soft and the scrub was great & excellent lather painter for a thicker lather applied then some of my synthetics. Knot seemed dense so you get your money's worth. 1st badger brush of 3 and it is a winner IMO. I would of not of bought them if it was not for their great sales recently, have a great day. I have lots of Synthetic brushes and really don't need more brushes for some time, but can't refuse a great bargain when it comes along.
@@ronr3623 The 2BB as all naturals get better as they get used, so much softer and lather well. Yaqi do a good quality at a reasonable price. And if you want a Gel Tip, take a 2BB and do it yourself!
Awesome collection! It's great to see a woman so into the shaving ritual. I have a few of them, I only buy in sale and gift some of them to family and friends, not my idea to have a big collection, maybe a small one. I've experienced 5 different synthetic knots from Yaqi and I have to say that I totally disagree with the timber wolf one, to me it's very much softer than the Everest one, but that's only my opinion. Great video, congratulation!
Thank you so much for this video! What a beautiful collection of yaqi brushes you have! I have a question for you... is there a difference between the Arctic Sky knot and the Arctic Lake? do they have the same backbone or are they different? Thank you in advance for your reply!
When I put the Body Shop brush into my shaving drawer, I realised that I have 14 brushes and thought that is quite a lot. Now you show us twice that many just from Yaqi. It seems I’m still in the top layers of the rabbit whole. BTW, the Pony knot is a work horse, well, who would have thought that.
Hahaaha, I didn't even notice I said that. The rabbit hole is real, I do swap a lot though and lend out. I just love the Yaqi brush quality/ price. I think I'm going to pass on some my brushes I have that I don't use a lot. I will keep my Omega's, RazoRock & Vielong brushes. I have been replacing my favourite Yaqi synths with natural ones if they have. But there are yaqi's I don't use a lot.
@@majasmagic Since you have the Sinatra Lennon brush from DS Cosmetics, I would like to ask how it compares to the cashmere knot. Are they similar or do they just look the same? (I’ll get the SL brush for my birthday, that’s why I ask.)
@@damiannematode5193 The SL one is completely different, It is more towards a tuxedo knot the same backbone but softer. It lathers very well has a nice loft hight and looks fabulous, it also fits into mugs, small bowls and scuttles rather nicely and feels good in the hand with it's somewhat longer handle compared to other small knotted brushes. I love it.
Super helpful survey of Yaqi brushes. Many thanks for making the video. I've got eight Yaqi brushes.
Thank you for the lovely comment

That green handle with the mink knot is perfection hopefully they make more
Now that’s what I call a collection. Very interesting to hear a little taster for each one too.

Yes you are right even 28 mm knot you can use in timber wolf but in g4 knot(Everest) can't use 26mm

That's a lot of Yaqi brushes, I realized that it's time for me to get a couple more.
I need your address, see reply I gave you yesterday to majasmagic@gmail.com

Very knowledgeable
Great collection. Are the 24mm synthetics generally the same performer with different handles? I am yet to get one but will do soon.
No, they do have different knots some softer than others
We have a nearly identical butterfly lamp!
Love it Lamp buddies!

@@majasmagic So it seems they are using different animals for the white bristles,, well, there are many animals in the poly family.
Can't believe how many brushes you have😁😁
I know and Yaqi just sent me some for free! I thought they were sending me one when they asked but 7 wow!
