also probably just saying this because he is who he is, I bet if a normal person who wanted to experience F1 mechanics like above he or she would probably be only given just the 1 day

@@johnnysheridan I know he's not "anyone", what I'm saying is if a normal good minded engineer wanted a job with F1 I'd say he/she have a hard time getting in, let alone close to an F1 car

It's a valid question. Everything is a learned skill... it took him time to work up to 200mph and 5ft from death. To you it may look more dangerous than it does to him. When I'm at the track, going 170+mph or very close to other riders in a high-speed corner at 100+mph and have to hit my apex marker within inches of a wall, I'm sure it looks MUCH more dangerous than it really is after YEARS and YEARS of practice and doing this.
Don't get me wrong, it is dangerous if you screw up, but YEARS of practice means you hopefully don't. It's sort of like you know where your nose is located after a lifetime of reaching it with your fingers and can do it with your eyes closed. Same thing, if you've done thousands of laps around a track...

When he mentioned Guy touching a hot tyre, I remembered him once explaining how he got friction burns from sliding at 100+mph after a crash at TT.
170mph through ballgeary, had a few others in and around the 140-170mph mark

@@jasperfk Lance started 15th teammate 16th. He's about an eighth of a second slower than average midfielder in qualifying in much tougher 2019. Only Kubica is slower. A slow race pace is even worse though
Ask Giovinazzi.😂 Lance could beat Vandoornes record. Alonso swept him whilst only being .41 seconds faster on average in Q1. Stroll is only .19 slower but still could be swept by Perez. Ericsson, VanDoorne, Hartley and Palmer are all gone. It's a murderer's row out there.
A more typical sweep in 2002 resulted in Marc Webber sweeping Yoong by an average of 1.7 seconds! Yoong is still very fast by normal standards in lower level racing.

He's a professional at that and probably confident. He isn't a professional at this. It's okay to be nervous at something that you're new to and that could lead to you letting down many people of a big team.

They're trying to compensate their pace on the race, so they have to utilise every seconds oof pitstops much than before.
At 6 mins is the answer to why they 'have gone down the shitter' she said 'touch wood' it's actually touching woods no good touching irons good luck.

In case you were just wondering how to make a lemon cake, it's your lucky day, because here's how you make a lemon cake:
Ingredients:
1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
4 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
1/3 cup grated lemon zest (6 to 8 large lemons)
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, divided
3/4 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the glaze:
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
3 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 (8 1/2 by 4 1/4 by 2 1/2-inch) loaf pans. You may also line the bottom with parchment paper, if desired.
Step 2: Cream the butter and 2 cups granulated sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. With the mixer on medium speed, add the eggs, 1 at a time, and the lemon zest.
Step 3: Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, the buttermilk, and vanilla. Add the flour and buttermilk mixtures alternately to the batter, beginning and ending with the flour. Divide the batter evenly between the pans, smooth the tops, and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a cake tester comes out clean.
Step 4: Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar with 1/2 cup lemon juice in a small saucepan and cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves. When the cakes are done, allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove the cakes from the pans and set them on a rack set over a tray or sheet pan; spoon the lemon syrup over them. Allow the cakes to cool completely.
Step 5:For the glaze, combine the confectioners' sugar and the lemon juice in a bowl, mixing with a wire whisk until smooth. Pour over the tops of the cakes and allow the glaze to drizzle down the sides.

@@Adam_mcnamara No, he came off Ultra Softs and then onto Super Softs, if you listen you hear the car shutdown, so they prob just finished their practice and did the extra stop for pit-stop practice, idk, all I know is that he didnt come in for Inters or Wets :P

See this is what the team has to go through even when a little crash is done by a driver, the driver is just there to drive, it’s the team who got the driver to where he is.

rockychieng88 they don’t have the money how are they supposed to compete with Merc and Ferrari unless they have huge investment or F1 level the playing field with spending limits I don’t see any other way forward for Williams , I would love to see them back on top
@@hdsg8361 who are the main investors? either it's the investors fault or the engineers working on the car are not up to par.
@@rockychieng88 Well then it's partly every investor in the worlds fault for not giving them money. Martini can only spend so much money on a racing team, it's still a company that needs to control their own economy.
Hopefully we'll see a big improvement in 2021that will draw in investors and we'll see a gradual improvement over the following years as more money comes in.
In 5-10 years time they could be battling for podiums again.
