In Daechiwta Yoongi killed his anger, in Haegeum he kills his greed, leading to the end of August D but as he still has his jacket at the end, it means that August D could comeback one day. This directly correlates not just to Yoongi but the group overall, as they are introspective and actively work to let go of the negativities that rise within them.
Yea and a lot of people think the one with the scar is the old king but its actually the beggar that killed the king in the first one! And now he's turned into the very thing he despised and here comes min yoongi to finally put an end to this circle
The guy in the suit is the "control", which is something that Yoongi has indirectly spoken about several times throughout the years during interviews ,, this is the last time that we will see agustd as he said in a recent interview so he took this chance to show the world that he is no longer being controlled in this industry
From what I heard, this mv is a sequel to Daechwita. And there will be another music video as a continuation of Haegeum, making it a trilogy. That’s why the Yoongi in the suit has that scar, he’s supposed to be the same one who killed blonde Yoongi in Daechwita. I think it’s a cycle, basically. But I’m pretty sure someone else can explain it way better than me but that’s what I heard.
I think what is cool about this mv is that at the end when Suga gets out of the police car is it looks like he has the jacket from the other Suga, so it seems to me that both of them are different versions of the same man, one a slave to everything and one trying to be free
I am so proud of you, his album is masterpiece he is a genius!!! Yoongi said "I recommend that you watch all the music videos for "Daechwita", "Haegeum", and "AMYGDALA" in one sitting!" and then he also mentioned in his documentary that in amygdala he wants to talk about how he got the scar on his face. Come to think of it yoongi is giving us a whole movie. He is an incredible storyteller.
I saw progression from blonde Agust D to the king in Daechwita, then the black haired Agust D who shot him down became the corrupted cop then shot down by the next. One could see it as the progression of Suga through the years as he processed so much.
Have you watched the Disney+ documentary guys? He sings some of the songs from D-day live. It's fire. I'm so jealous of army living in the countries where Yoongi is touring and will able to see him perform these live. It will be amazing 💜💜💜
My interpretation, but in Daechwita, Boss Yoongi (scar) killed King Yoongi (scar) , who was first introduced in the original Agust D MV. Now, mature, D-Day Yoongi (no scar) has killed Boss Yoongi because he's outgrown even that persona. Mature Yoongi is ready to completely burn down the system, not just rule it. My love and admiration know no bounds for his genius. 💜 💜 💜
That's basically my feeling. Agust D began as the rapper who wanted material things out of his success (greedy and ambitious), and was full of anger and doubts...and rose to remarkable heights in the process of winning his 'kingdom'. He evolved to an Agust D free of his anger and greed, and killed his former incarnation so it wouldn't weigh him down any longer- but he was still held down with limitations and restrictions and was controlled. Now Yoongi has killed off that Agust D, yet at the same time he sounds the cautionary note that there's freedom, and then there's self-indulgence. I think he carries Agust D's black coat along not so much as a trophy as a reminder not to go overboard with freedom. There're times when control is necessary, and that part of Agust D stays with him.

Like Joker in Batman, we assume he is bad. But he mostly misunderstood because he wants to change but goes about it his way. The bad guy in "Haegeum" is power and money. Both sides are fighting over control. To get rid of the war between lower criminals and higher-ranking criminals, Agust D destroys the one thing both are fighting over...money. It isn't his desire to be rich or have power, he trying to humanize each side so their focus isn't capitalism. It also feels like he's fighting between old and new Yoongi again. I had a passion, I worked hard to further it. But when I needed money that passion became my bread and butter. Now that I am where I am the money doesn't mean much anymore. This is just my thinking. By the way, D-Day is phenomenal!!! 😁💜
José Ochoa said that there're a lot of references to the movie Scarface in the mv. So after your comment I'm like "Great, now there's *two* movies I gotta watch!" 😂
The king, The outsider (Daechwita), The Gangster Boss, The Traitor (Haegeum) - all of them are sides of Suga/Agust D but better versions from each other. So, every time the old version is killed, that means a new Era has started and also, this new guy in the end has no scar. He is healed and free. 💜
This video was fire. Agust D always delivers. Suga said in a video that when the music video for AMYGDALA comes out on April 25th, he recommended that you watch Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala in one sitting. There is probably a theme or overall story linking all three videos, that's my opinion. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜💜

Yoongi really know his game and funny how he called out a lot of these capitalists manipulating the system. Just to add, part of this song's beat was made 10 years ago. 😊 Yoongi said in one of his interviews that it's best to watch Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala because they're connected.
My favorite track on the album, and the live version on the D-Day documentary took me out. They should seriously consider releasing it separately, it's so good!
In the last scene, Suga walks into the restaurant carrying the black coat of the guy he just killed. We're trying to figure out if it's his trophy. Also, did you notice in the beginning of the MV, it's Suga walking with his crew of 6. 1+6=7, love the symbolism. Suga is such a bad-ass performer, writer, producer. Always impressive! 💪
BTS suga mentioned in his Disney documentary that he always produced his music as a BTS team its always included in their MV's ,he never wants to just promote himself...
Yoongi did say to watch in order starting with daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala MV will be release 4/25. Thai Army (Sky_Hxneul) mentioned that this MV was filmed in Thailand and the place is called the “Thief Market” Rattanakosin Island (old name for Thailand from 1782-1892) and it was the first international shopping center in that period after the abolition of slavery. This is how he explained it: The market came to exist because the people in the palace freed from slavery when they moved out of the palace, they received goods from their master and stole some. They then brought those goods to sell them in this area. Haegeum is a traditional instrument and also means the liberation of the prohibition.
Incredible! And sooo many visual flashback's to Daechwita: The opening street scene, the free for all in the apartment this time/the car in the sand last time, the circle of fires with the smoke, not being killed/getting the weapon, in the cop car... plus the use of traditional instruments. so rich and thick with meaning. And those lyrics!! a bullet to the forehead with the meaning of his words.
3 music videos work together….Suga said watch MV Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala (comes out tomorrow night) in that order. I love how explains all his songs and experiences in his documentary and in his behind the scenes.
Remember the behind the scenes for the Not Today MV where he was joking about how he couldn't act? Well, look at him now! I agree with Nico, somebody needs to cast him in a movie! 💜
"Differenciate between freedom and self indulgence" ... If had to peak a favorite line. Love the message put out with the song and the energy with which it was delivered ❤️

Yoongi did the storyboard for Haegum by himself and tell us to watch Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala in sequence. Im felt this trilogy hard guys! He's a truly genius!🗣️🗣️🫶🏾
I seen somewhere that Suga said he’s constantly killing his evil counterpart. In the sense of he is one person but it’s him getting rid of his bad/evil side
I have watched at least three times, each time I see something different. Mr Min is a stunning . The thing about storytelling for me is believing the person in the role he or she is playing. Yoongi’s so good it’s scary! I said it before Give the Man a Oscar! ❤
Just the fact that you didn't pause it more than once tells me that you were so engrossed with the MV like the rest of us. Yoongi is the most talented man I've known from this era. And I waited for this reaction since yesterday =D

Sugar is going to kill us. The MV is like a movie. The live is excellent with all the natural instruments, now I see the dance practice I did not expect, OMG. Nico I envy you guys seeing him live, you are all in for a treat.
The haegeum (Korean: 해금) is a traditional Korean string instrument, resembling a vertical fiddle with two strings Video is amazing! What I got from this video "two strings" is definitely a metaphor Suga is playing two split personalities
Spitting bitter FACTS, to all spitting bitter FICTION👏Not 1 word wasted. ALL new solos combined, in all genres = Concise hell of a message, with a complimentary verbal backhand to haters! From BTS & on behalf of ARMY! Look at it that way😉🫶🔥

Remember the scar on the eye means unfit to rule and have power. So both times Yoongi took out the unfit figures of power. The cop was crooked and that was his dirty money that he stole and burned.

Factual Evidence Confirmed 💪🏽🔥
@@WhatchaGot2Say 😄😂
Yoongi is a genius and I can’t wait to see my bias in concert in a few weeks. I wish him safe travels and health. Love you guys. 💜💜💜
Just the fact that you didn't pause it more than once tells me that you were so engrossed with the MV like the rest of us. Yoongi is the most talented man I've known from this era. And I waited for this reaction since yesterday =D
Eeeeeh called it! One of you will say to cast him in a movie. 😂 I mean this MV and song alone is an overloaded treat from THE AgustD 😎 We all know he ain't playin and he is out for the kill. Y'all should react to Amygdala, Snooze, Huh?! and Life goes on fam. It's a different treat as well. This album is LIBERATION at it's finest. Genius just genius, raw and real from Min Yoongi. I've been waiting for y'alls reaction fam. Love it❤
Siempre sorprendiendonos Agust-D..un genio...para q ir al cine si tenemos los videos de él...
Love how you love BTS. Between the opening “swag” to the “Yoongi marry me” t-shirt (s) was fire even before the video started. Agustd was amazing. Lyrics, music, flow, acting, references to politics, movies and cinematography 🔥
The king is back this mv is insanely good it's another epic album
You guys are so awesome! Loving the Tees, Suga would be proud. We need a minute's silence to appreciate bad ass Yoongi in all his menacing, hot glory 👑🔥
Steve Aaoki said Suga is a musical genius don't you guys agree .. expect the unexpected from Suga .. the song was magnificent and Suga's acting abilities deserve the highest award, he can definately put some alist actors in the shade .. one line in the song the hit hard is " your freedom of speech could mean someone's death" ain't that the truth .. masterpiece 100%🥰🥰💜💜👍👍👍👍
Sugar is going to kill us. The MV is like a movie. The live is excellent with all the natural instruments, now I see the dance practice I did not expect, OMG. Nico I envy you guys seeing him live, you are all in for a treat.
Its really a movie 🍿 And Suga is on the next level of k-pop. So meaningful, so talented
Love you guys and your enthusiasm for all good things and BTS!
Yoogi said that you should watch Daechwita, Haegum and Amygdala MVs in one sitting.. so we will wait on Amygdala's MV to see.
Как всегда,браво Шуга!!!👏
another proof that suga is a musical genius🔥
The haegeum (Korean: 해금) is a traditional Korean string instrument, resembling a vertical fiddle with two strings
Video is amazing! What I got from this video "two strings" is definitely a metaphor
Suga is playing two split personalities
Spitting bitter FACTS, to all spitting bitter FICTION👏Not 1 word wasted. ALL new solos combined, in all genres = Concise hell of a message, with a complimentary verbal backhand to haters! From BTS & on behalf of ARMY! Look at it that way😉🫶🔥
This was incredible 💜! His whole album is absolutely awesome!💜
Man, Yoongi is just so amazing and talented!
Yoongi ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Always count on you three to bring the 🔥🔥🔥 reactions! This video is so gold and honestly worth deep diving into the meaning of Haegeum and what Yoongi is saying in his lyrics and things in the music video that link between Haegeum and Dechwita. To think this man worked on this whole song on his own. Not many do that anymore. Loving this whole album for real. I’m jealous of you guys getting to witness this in person. He for sure will bring the 🔥
Blaze, I love your T-shirt with the reference to SUGA’s shirt at the Busan concert! So clever!
really appreciate you guys posting your mv reactions 24 hrs after the release. and it's always fun to watch with you 😍
I’m really amazed how good is his acting here, like really really good. No wonder he was offered a script to act after Daechwita. His acting is good even on his fast mv’s of previous mixtapes. Now it gone even better and better.😩💜
Agust D is insanely talented! His acting is amazing, his rapping is ridiculously crazy good, his visuals are killer-he almost killed me dressed as the police detective coming down them damn stairs-forgive me I digress 😂 Overall, this is another masterpiece from a musical genius to be watched a bazillion times. I so wish I was going to his concert. Thank you AgustD 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤩🤩🤩🤩🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜
Also note: the executioner/butcher from Daechwita is also the same dude who’s the executioner/guy on the phone in Haegeum.
Remember the scar on the eye means unfit to rule and have power. So both times Yoongi took out the unfit figures of power. The cop was crooked and that was his dirty money that he stole and burned.
Suga merece um Oscar pra esse MV
The suit Yoongi is a corrupt cop.
Thanks for the awesome reaction.
You guys ROCK!
Haegeum also means to lift a "ban" from something forbidden.
Like por la intro tan genial jajaja ame la reacción, Agust D the best ❤
2nd mv in the trilogy, this is amazing. Boss/police Yoongi still has the scar (but faded). Underground Yoongi no scar. Just wow
So much 🔥 energy for the MV!!!! And you guys dancing and singing so fun! I’m going to his concert in Chicago!!!
So am I! Can’t wait!
I love the writtens in their shirts😊 especially "yoongi marry me"😂 is a no ending saga 😂😂
The chopsticks: what feeds us, kills us.
😯😯😯
Suga doesn’t make MVs, he makes mini movies. He blows my mind with his talent.
Rapper, produtor, compositor .... Ator 😮❤
E lindo 💜
Please... Yoongi works so hard for this album... Please stream
Yoongi nunca erra 🥺💜🤌🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Оскар Мин Юнги за такую работу😏💜Agust D the best😏
Thank you so much for supporting YOONGI, I really like your channel! Success always
