    Love your reviews, i hope to see the BenQ Mobiuz EX3410R on here as i purchased it this morning. Reviews i found so far are very positive, and say it's well worth the money. It's 599,99, but they say it's well worth more because of all it's features.

    Thank you for this video. I appreciate the hard work you put into it. I don't know monitors that well, and I have a headache from the countless review videos I've been watching. Could you please tell me which 4K gaming monitor is, in your opinion, considering all your knowledge on the subject, the best for gaming on a PS5 (4K@120Hz)? I know there are so many monitors and features. I just want to know what you would choose if you wanted the best gaming experience on PS5. Thanks in advance.

    Ayup! I just bought the BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U for use with my PS5 and am decently happy with it :D. I was gaming on a 52" LG 55SJ850V (may be called differently across the Channel ;P) which already had relatively low input lag for being a TV screen and not a gaming monitor (15,1 ms) but the difference between the two is too noticeable to ever go back, in my experience
    I'm not a hardcore FPS player, but I still want to do well enough in games like CoD where, when I die to someone, I know my monitor isn't the issue and the player who killed me was just better at the game than me. I don't know where I'm going with this lol, I suppose I want to ask you if I made the right choice by going with the BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U out of the myriad of monitors on the market today. I won't be competing in tournaments or anything of that sort, just want to have a nice time and keep my K/D ratio positive lol

    When do you think HDMI 2.1 monitors will become more affordable? In another year or so?

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  2 года назад +1

      Probably, but it's solely for the console market. So depends really on the demand for such monitors vs TVs.

    I've seen so many brands now with offerings of 144mhz, Should I consider any compatibility issues with my current computer specifications? or All of these 144mhz monitors are compatible with any type of computer build?

      Other than GPU power (ie for 4K at 144hz), the other thing to consider is your GPU display output, more info here: ruclips.net/video/daHrqIFieBU/видео.html

      P.S. Only from these two monitors. Priority is PC games, watching movies and working with text.
      According to the AOC specification, it has a better 1ms response and a little brighter 350cd/m, but strong blowouts.

    The only way i know of making the gamma at the high end get back in line on a monitor is to lower the contrast setting as white may be clipping and thus throwing the gamma way off. Of course that will make the contrast ratio get even worse. Very odd that, although in reality for games it isn't a deal breaker as bad gamma at the low end is much more an issue with crushed or overbrightened shadow detail.

      It was worth it for the viewer, i think your reviews are about as complete as they need to be for anyone who knows about monitors and calibration, so thanks. One thing i wanted to ask is how you measure input lag and if it is just input lag or a combined lag and response time figure. It's tough to compare different places as they all do it slightly different.

    • @TotallydubbedHD
      @TotallydubbedHD  2 года назад +1

      @@theoldpcgamer77 thanks buddy, looking to add response time figures in my tests too!
      As for the input lag, I use the same testing methodology as Simon from TFT Central and Adam from PC Monitors - the SMTT tool; but can't currently accommodate for response time - so it's technically just the display lag only (it's not the total system delay like Nvidia offers nor the signal processing delay). Personally, I'd not compare and contrast between reviewers; some aren't clear about it and even if they are the methodology might be a bit different - I'll be soon including graphs of my own once I've collated more monitor data :)
