  • @EJofKC
    @EJofKC 9 дней назад +1

    Why Patriots dynasty was/is more hated:
    - personalities of the team, a lot of humorless players and staff. Andy Reid promotes players to show their personalities while Bill preached “do your job”
    - you know… the cheating scandals (plural). Folks are losing their minds about reffing and the chiefs but if twitter had the pull then during the patriots reign as it does now… reffing would have been a centerfold of their dynasty too.
    - Kansas City is too small a town to really have beef like Boston just inheritantly has with NY. Pair that with the general midwest kindness vs the rougher edged personalities of New Englanders and there’s already space for the chiefs to be less hateable.
    All told, I get why there is Chiefs fatigue, the commercials alone are enough to be annoyed, but this dynasty is far less hateable than the Patriots.

    • @RageDaug
      @RageDaug 9 дней назад +1

      This was the comment I was looking for. I was telling my son the same things you were saying even before he got to the point of saying he wasn't sure why he hated the Patriots more. Then when he said, " I don't know why" I was just thinking, "really??"
      The HC was obnoxious. the QB was pretentious. They were known for cheating, and when they weren't cheating they were looking for rules where they could find loop holes to bend beyond their intended scope, to the point that the rules had to be specifically re-written to clarify to Bill B., "stop it". And on top of all that, you have the biased / favorable officiating they received.
      IMO, the Chiefs players and coaches are likable. I blame the NFL for both the Swift coverage and the favorable officiating, so I don't hold those points directly against the team.
      All that said, I still hope KC loses every week. I just say that out of love and not out of hate. 😈
