We don't have a video on cleaning a tent sorry, however, it's pretty straight forward. Simply set the tent up and sweep the inside out with a dustpan and broom, use the broom to brush dirt off the outside then use warm (mild) soapy water to clean down the outside. As long as you don't use harsh chemicals you will be fine. ~ Ben
Do you HAVE to remove the fly when packing up the swagger? My 6-man instant up, the only time I remove the fly is if it has been raining heavily and it all needs to be hung up in the garage to dry. If the swagger can also be happy with the fly folding up still attached, I think I’ve found my downsizing tent :)
We recommend taking the fly off for pack up purely to avoid it becoming pinched in the folding frame which may result in a hole in the fabric. So, technically you could leave the fly on, but it's best to take it off. ~ Ben
Please someone help! I'm going away next week and just bought this tent so I can easily put it up myself as I'm a female solo traveller. I put it up to test it and the poles are so stiff! I came back to look at this video and when you pull the poles to click them in it seems alot easier.. I have a bit of strength but now I'm worried as I really really struggle to click them in!? Is there something that can make that easier for me or should I bring it back? :(
They can feel stiff if the poles twist at all, Tara. If you look closely you will see that the inner section of the pole has a flat surface in order to keep it oriented correctly, you may find that as you lay the poles out there is some torsional pressure causing the inner pole to twist making it hard to slide. I'd recommend trying to twist it a little as you pull or move the whole frame a bit to find the spot at which it slides easily. Hope that helps. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors yeah to find a small scale tent / swag balance .. I can’t stand up in a swag either but I’m off the ground .. the all in one stretcher and swags are to big and bulky..
I know from watching you guys regularly that Lauren refuses to call this a SWENT. But it is. I have read some reviews where the wet weather performance is not the best. In your opinion, knowing that it’s possible you are not allowed to comment, are they suitable for wet weather?
I used both of mine over christmas and it rained heavily for 3 days and they held up surprisingly well. About 3-4 drops got in max. For the price i recon they are good quality 😎👍
@@alexgrubb7446 Thanks for the feedback. I am not a swag person, too bulky with no rolm inside. I think one of these, maybe a stretcher and a good sleeping bag seems to be the go. Room for me some gear under the stretcher and the dog bed.
I've heard of a handful of people who have had issues, but the majority have stories of their Swagger tent keeping them dry in very wet weather. I think it likely comes down to making sure you have it well pitched so the flysheet stays away from the inner. ~ Ben
mind to share a tutorial on how to clean this type of tent?

Can the frame detach from the inner?
It can, but you wouldn't want to do this every time you packed it up. ~ Ben

Could u set up a single stretcher in this tent ?
You could, Michael, I'm not sure you'd be able to sit upright on the stretcher though. ~ Ben
