Is it possible for your opponent to turn into you when you and your opponent are shoulder to shoulder on the ground such as in 3:07? Are there way for you to stop your opponent from getting on top, I alway end up in that situation, largely during a sweep
Yes and no. Great question and legit concern. Two things: 1. If he turns into me, in order to get to the top he has to get his near elbow and knee to the ground. As long as I secure the catch on the leg prior to that, it should restrict him 2. It’s important to cut the angle back toward the opponent when going into the knee bar so that his hip mobility is compromised and his range of motion / flexion is restricted. Hope this helps!
I never seen the move at 8:16 Would love to see more on it and on how to avoid the crucifix, when grabbing between your partners legs from bottom side control.
Is any of these moves illegal in some competitions? To be specific I saw that in 5:00 and I was once told that you can't submit the inside leg (the opponents left leg as in the picture). The exact words were "You will be kicked out of the gym instantly" Well in Greek it sounds different..😄 Thank you very much
Thanks for the cool entries. The kneebar is one of my favorite subs. I really like that first one.
Exactly what I need today! Another awesome instructional!
Very cool! Thanks to both Professors!!!🤙🏻😎💪🏻

OMG this is fantastico! I'm doing a grappling seminar July 23rd in El Monte, California with emphasis on leglocks. Will teach these.

These are all competition legal for higher ranks and in no-gi. Some are legal in the gi as well.
@@KnightJiuJitsu thank you
👍👌👍nice
Where is that rash guard from?
It’s from Toehold. They normally make custom flip flops but have rash guards and other gear too.
@@KnightJiuJitsu sweet, thanks.
Woooo nasty time
Knee bars? Yeah I'm good. Guys I roll with know I'm not down with that lower body life given my knees are probably one bad move from exploding inside.
Eli why are you looking older
