You need to remember this what Janson said to us that 5070 have similar or same performance than 4090. but if 5080 do not reach 4090 than this means fog or fake frames
5070 is a let down!
Objectively More RAW performance is better so the 4070 Super beats 5070 and Also I have a BETTER game experience on the previous model with DLSS bc my raw performance is MUCH better! Resulting in getting more TRUE frames with DLSS giving me better command feedback!💪🏾😎
I'm very disappointed with the 5070!
An upgrade from 1000 or 2000 seried is worth it though but any higher model it's NOT worth!
The price is just fooling PC gamers who don't have any knowledge about PCs! Unfortunately many still buy the overpriced Nvidia GPUs!
Nvidia has more benefits but the price is not worth it!
If the prices drop by 20-30% however I would definitely recommend Nvidia but only the 4070 models or higher!
I'm pretty sure it wont be slower. Why? 5080 has 60% less cores than 4090, but with overclocking comes into striking distance of a stock 4090. 5070 has 30W higher TDP than 4070S, they'll just pump more watts into the cores and clock them up to 3.0ghz+. Together with the higher memory bandwidth that will propably have the 5070 sit somewhere between 4070S and 4070Ti.
Just wanted to add that this still sucks as a generational improvement. But for people on 10,20 or 30 series cards the upgrade is still a good one if the card can be bought for MSRP, which is a big IF.
Yes with what we know about the 5080/5090 Im pretty sure the 5070=4070ti, for 550$ I d say Its a pretty good upgrade. The 4070ti is a great card.
That's true but it's deceiving the players! Of course with more Power you get more performance but the 4070 models could do the same and outperform the 5070 using your method!

Don't be fools !! You have to stop watching benchmarks and start imagining more frames !! Just close your eyes while gaming and imagine there are more frames than on the screen ! Its so easy and worth the money ! And if you buy 3 you actually save enough money to buy 3 more !!
why compare to the super???
Because traditionally a generation leap that a 60/60 ti card would be better than the previous 70 series card
The 4070 super was barely more performant than the 4070. A new gen should be at least as performant as the next upper tier of the last gen (so the 5070 should be at least equal to the 4080) but it's doesn't even match the 4070 super. This is why.
Because that's how it should be. Generational leap. Otherwise why would anyone be buying new cards
4070 was 15% slower then the 4070 super. On average. Idc about your opinions on how it “should be” just weird to not cross compare its predecessor.
@@prezid1227but the “super” cards are the equivalent of iPhone 5s to a regular iPhone 5. The iPhone 6 was better than the iPhone 5s. The rtx 3070 was better than the 2070 super
