Was literally just looking at this on amazon last night. The algo has me nailed.
I own 3 of these bad boys, and they work great. I mount them about 15-17 inches above my crop.
i got 2 of these in a 2x4 and run em at 80% for flower and its perfect fit!!
This light is amazing. I have 4 in a 7x7 tent. 1000 ppfd in the center of each light, and around 600-700 on the edges. The reason why it’s higher than your readings is because I made custom hoods for each light. It bumps it up! I have no idea why LED panels don’t come with hoods. Wasted light without them. My tent has all around reflective walls, but without the hoods the readings are lower. 4 of these running 920 watts outdid my (2) 1,000 watt HPS’s 👍🏼
I was hoping, expecting to see it remotely controlled from a smart phone. Good company for budget lighting I almost got one once. This is a great channel thanks!

Great light. The reflector really does make a significant impact.
Only caveat is just like the gro-planner and Mixjoy the remote and or app becomes buggy after awhile. That was my only issue with this series.
Maxsun told me last year they were gonna put a manual dimmer on them. Lotta people lose and break the remotes. Lol
Gro-planner is supposed to add a manual dimmer too.
Although haven't seen it either actually add them yet.

with a 2X4 you for sure can get a powerful reflection on the back wall by zipping up the tent. Just unzip a small triangle piece of it and flap it around in your hand and you can see the back wall mylar light up even more when it's at a certain angle..

have heard something strange. When you plug the lamp into a timer the light won't go on until you use the remote. Is this true?
I have 3 of these lights in a 4x4 tent. I'm about to start germinating seeds and then planting them. What do you recommend I should set the lights height and power when first starting out considering I have 3 of them. I'm worried that it will be too strong! I noticed in the manual there is an acclimation and then a seedling stage. Thank you.

50x50 cm equals just shy of 20x20 inches. I see no reason reason to buy anything beyond a "1000" style light.
If money is no object then look at the Atreum Hydra 1000. It's about $140 US with DrMJCoco coupon codes. If on an extreme budget this MS1000 will be a good idea. It's about $50 US on Amazon.
If you want a great example of a light that is better than the MS1000, but doesn't break the bank like the Hydra 1000, look at the Vipar Spectra xs1000. It's basically the Hydra but without the removable driver. It's $81 US after tax using the code DrMJCoco10 on Amazon. I just purchased a xs1000 for my 61x61 cm grow tent.
i have this in a 3x3 grow tent and im not able even able to push the dimmer to 100% because i started seeing signs of light stress even thought my temp inside my grow tent was 79f.
i tested the light with a meter and i was getting 0ver 1500 ppfd at 18 inches aways from the bud...WIll this harm my buds and im i also have the light dimmed to 60% is this enough?
1500 is pretty high but not too bad. It may make the top of the buds foxtail a little bit. To properly take advantage of that light level you need co2.

hey bro is there any benefit to running 2 mf2000's in a 4x4 over 4 mf1000's?

@@Mr3Dvisuals i found a good deal on a 4000 model and am using that in my flower tent and got a mf2000 for my closet vegging.
Tbh id go with 2 mf2000 only because a single higher wattage light could develop a problem where you have to turn it in for warranty work, leaving you without a flower light. Whereas if you get 3 mf2000's for a veg room and flower room you can always get through flower using a single mf2000

I got two, one of them when you touch the driver is super hot, and the other is fairly cool, almost the same as my 100w boards.... Anyone experience the same?
I own two of there pb1500s and a mf2000 and I absolutely love them. The only drawback is there customer service. Every time I ask them a question about there lights they reply with a vague message that says refer to the manual and immediately after they ask if I want to buy another light… it’s weird!!! They have a new Bar style light that YOU MUST REVIEW!!! I want it really bad so I need your review to make the decision!!!

The PB200 is 2 inches longer 23.5 to 21.5.I think the PB driver is only 200 watts compared to 230 watts…
Sure hope that dimmer remote lasts shoving one of these in a 2x2.
