Hi! It's an amazing job and the result is fascinating. Thank you very much for taking the time to show us the process and how it works.
I'm thinking of buying one of these for my XE S, but I've seen in other videos that the sound quality, since it's connected via AUX, loses some quality. I have the meridian sound system and I'm afraid of not being able to take advantage of it because of this.
Have you experienced something similar with your android head unit?
    Thanks in advance!

Hello, I noted the comment on poor sound quality through AUX in some old reviews. Sound quality in my unit is same as the original Jaguar. May be even slightly better and clear sounds. I assume manufacturer might have modified the new units based on the old comments. You need to be mindful that multiple Chinese manufacturers advertise android units for the same car. I would not buy cheap products. Ideally buy it from a local dealer so if any issue you can return. I recommend Marryway brand if you buy it from China. Make sure the brand name is imprinted on the back aluminium panel.

Mine is a 2017. You are correct. Jaguar OME 10 inch screen upgrade is available only from 2017 onwards models. This is an Android head unit not made by Jaguar. This unit could be installed in cars manufactured 2014-2020.

Thank you for your quick reply! I guess it is possible because of the Android software. I am afraid that for IOS it is not possible for my year model…

It has wireless Apple car play. I am using an iPhone and unit connects to my phone with in one minute once it powered and I don’t use the android platform at all.

@@eshanpeiris9427 very strange, because according to the LR retrofit, they claim that I cannot have the 10” screen for my car… I have also seen a video of an f type owner saying the same thing. The problem is that I don’t live in the UK… Can you please send me the link of the company you bought the product? I will appreciate

@@thef14dI fee you are confused with the 10” OEM screen upgrade, which LR retrofit offers and aftermarket Android Head units. They are completely 2 different products. 10” OEM screen upgrade could only done for models 2018 onwards where a fitter needs update the Harmon unit software as well. It could be done by a Jaguar dealership or a company who has access to the OEM software upgrades. This unit runs in an android platform and doesn’t need any of such. Also it has its weaknesses as well. There are a lot of Chinese manufacturers offering this unit and the shop I bought, is in the Vedio as a text.
