Amazing indicator, lots of useful information. Could you please explain the differences between this indicator and the super trend indicator available on trading view. Those two signal showed up at the exact same time in that indicator, and same for the previous days. Thanks
Depending on price action you could see similar or even identical signals at times from any system out there, however. There's a variety of custom factors that go into deciding when the signals get printed based around trend, market volatility, choppiness, prior signals, and more.
Great question, enabling the chop filter is going to give you less signals but a lot more accurate signals. Adding the profit Target is also going to be an added benefit to get out of trades much quicker.
I am using a prop firm that has a 30% profit target on any one day. I have to find another firm as I am having to bail to not exceed the 30% target. Also, I have a fail-safe 40 tick Stop Loss on my ATM. I find that I have been caught a couple of times not adjusting my Stop Loss to the profit wave which causes quick losses that are not real. I had to repair those losses twice this morning already but I have confidence that these are quickly repairable now.. Nevertheless, I am closing out the day at maximum profit per my prop firm rules. I will take it.
Me too, because I'm in Alberta, Canada, and I can not use tradovate or Ninja 😢. So, I have the 30% consistency rule, and I go slowly but surely! setted up a goal from the begining and I have no problem with that rule, I am mot greedy. They don't want you to be rich in one day, so, I give them consistency!
For some reason mine did not print those signals on the 1 min or 2 min chart. The last signal I got was at 8:42 NY time to sell short at 347.25, 6 points hit and then it went to 370's before the drop no signal until a long signal at 20,345.50 at 10:25 newyork time . How do I fix it to indicate the same as yours( thanks to the comments I realized I didn't have it set to the heikin ashi candle style on tradingview😂 lol) problem solved😅
Hi Justin. Would love you join, but if your signals are on Tradingview, which broker can be used to enter trade with out being late to the trade? I will not be using funded accounts, I will use my own live money. Please advise. Thanks.
you can use any of the broker allowed in Tradingview. Check with them! There's many brokers, depending in what country you are. If you are in USA, then they have almost all of them
I automatically have a take profit set on my tradovate account so immediately after I click buy or sell it populates 10 points and when it hits that amount it closes out automatically for me
I am specifically using the profit wave as my stop loss and at no point did that trade actually ever close below. Technically speaking, if I had held it all the way until it did close below, I still would have made 6.5 points
@@cancanturco I have to, it's like driving without a seatbelt, unfortunately I set it too close and stopped out twice. The 2 losses were about 90 points total on NQ. Yeowsa.
@kevinpaddock1300 don't set it up too close. It hapened to me too. I sujest you to calm down, practice more just on TV, no broker, no firm, just TV; work on your entries, be patience, try to pick better entries, until you start winning again and retake confidence. Practice!
You are also going to lose, and yhat is ok. Even the experts lose. Try to make your losses shorter. That's why I will send you back to practice! 😂 and don't be greedy 🙏 don't overtrade neither. I was overtrading and lossing my wins, I said NO MORE 👹 regroup, adjust, practice, and nowi am only winning!..I know I will lose but I'm more confident following my plan and rules...🤷♂️ I KNOW YOU CAN!!💪💪💪
@Myfuturesuccess meaning alot of these prop firms consider 30 to 40% consistent of your winning daily so let's say you normally do 800 in a trade a day and you accidentally did 1300 for a few days. Some prop firms will deny payouts bc the amount u been hitting is above your normal profit target. Keep a eye on that.
For the 2-minute timeframe, everything is set as default. If you want to trade the 1 minute timeframe, change the settings to 20 instead of 40 for take profit level

Make sure the candle type for your chart is set to Heikin Ashi

I personally use take profit Trader for my prop firm but you can also use tradovate which is also a good broker as well

If you're finding your own account, one contract requires a minimum margin of $1,000, so you want to have at least a couple thousand dollars.

Yes, that is correct. The 2-minute timeframe should be set to 40 which translates to 10 points

I use a SL just in case electricity goes off or computer freezes, but I trail it (I adjust it every time I am in proffit!
