A quick heads up: If you have your pets microchipped, always UPDATE your new address with the appropriate company and your old veterinarian EVERY TIME YOU MOVE! I found a darling cat (well, she found me!) who had a chip, but the owners could not be located because they had failed to update their new address with the microchip company or with the Humane Society of Honolulu where the cat had been adopted. By the time she finally decided that I was her new human, "Cricket" had been living in our barn in Virginia for a good eight months. The Honolulu office tried to contact her previous owners, but their landlines had been disconnected (no cell number) when they relocated, and a letter sent to their address was returned as "undeliverable" -- the USPS will only forward mail for six months nowadays. So Cricket joined our family. My own vet was astonished, as was his staff -- they had always assumed that a pet could be reunited with its owner as long as it had a microchip. Quite an education for everyone, as it turned out, and the vet was now telling everyone who brought their pets in about the cat from Hawaii who was found in Virginia, but the original owner was lost; I can't imagine how many people were prompted to update their new address for their microchipped pets! PLEASE: Don't delay -- make sure that your pet's info is current. Keep the papers in a safe deposit box, and update as necessary. 😺

My dad, lived with 3 daughters, a wife, his mother and 90% of staff at his work were women (veterinary nurses).
He absolutely was like this when we got him a male labrador puppy 😂

True but most people would rather risk a bit of work than leaving the puppy downstairs.

Tia'a was the wife of Amenhotep II and the mother of Tutmoses IV. Don't you know anything?" I love seeing Robert with an obvious interest. He is usually so bland.

Lord Grantham's dog from season 1 was named Pharaoh. He was replaced with Isis around season 3. Isis is the tail wagging fur baby we see in the opening credits. Sadly Isis (not the dog who portrayed her) passed away in season 5 of cancer. Robert and Cora laid her in the bed between them so she can die peacefully and lovingly in her sleep between. For quite some time, Lord Grantham went without a dog. As a memorial to beloved Isis. It wasn't until season 6 that Tio came as a puppy. 🐾🐶

@@m.layfette6249 I actually liked the idea here that Robert's mother, although not terribly maternal usually, knew when he was ready for a new dog and took care of it for him.
