Hey new subscriber to your channel my question is what's up with Hyundai and Kia pin codes is it that some vehicle models we need to purchase the pin codes?
Very rare that you need to buy a code. I have many car on this channel that I've pulled pins on. The only ones that have failed are 2019 G90 and a 2023 Kia Carnaval. Why? I'm not really sure. Due to the fact that the machines needing internet connection, I think the tool may be referencing some sort of database? Just a guess.
I have a im508 with an xp400. I tried to program a 2021 Kia Sedona smart keybut there is no option to read the pin under hot function or immo scan. Any suggestions?
@@accold99 I've had great luck pulling pins with Autel. Are you in subscription? Internet connected? I'll check my machine to see if the pin option is there now.

Did you add the existing customer key when programming? Is it necessary to reprogram the existing key or can I just add a key?
Kia/Hyundai require all keys to be present when adding a key. If the customer left a key at home, it will no longer work. Nissan is the same way.

My machine doesn't have it either under Sedona. It does say in the notes to try "system selection" to read pin. Let me know if this helps.
