FINALLY! After many months in making and by popular demand, I give you Trains at Speed 4! Many ups and downs getting this video together. Originally planned to upload it in September, however my computer broke and I lost everything. So restarted the long process of gaining all the footage again and its been a fun ride, but finally made it, compiled it and here it is! The fourth in my most successful series of videos here on RUclips!
Footage is included from nearly all major routes and train operators in the United Kingdom from a variety of locations from Scotland down to the South Coast and Kent! There's some routes and trains that were not previously included in my "Trains at Speed" videos but by request I have added such as the Chiltern Mainline, South West & Southern!

West Coast Mainline: 07:21 - 13:15
Midland Mainline: 13:20 - 17:39
East Coast Mainline: 17:43 - 23:32
Great Eastern Mainline: 23:35 - 27:03
High Speed One: 27:07 - 30:44
Southern & South West: 30:50 - 36:18

At 56 years old, some would say I should have grown out of watching trains. However, I see nothing childish about marvelling at these fantastic pieces of engineering flying past at 100 mph plus. Us humans are quite clever really!

I don't know why but I absolutely love it when I'm standing on the station and a train comes past at full speed
AbstracT my grandads drover a train for around 16 years and was working in tracks for 10 years but since he told me Iv been obsessed with train but it scares me whne they come fast lol
Because the trains are 4 full speed and its super fast everyone is scaredi think thats the thing

There is! And i can only imagine that power/torgue on 2 wheels,i worked on trains back in '88,HOW I MIS THAT now i'm older, (with a 1000cc bike,as opposed to a 550cc back then). I LOVE TRAINS,but riding a bike is awsome !

Wow!!!! I sure enjoyed this! One thing your video confirms, is how pathetic our trains are here in the Northwest of England! I'm referring to the 40 year old 'pacer trains' that run on our local lines. A truly enjoyable video.
I recently viewed your Trains At Speed (4). I really enjoyed. I live near Ottawa Ontario Canada and can only envy living somewhere that has such a variety of trains. Where I live we are part of what we call our main corridor which is run by VIA Rail between Quebec City Que. to Windsor, Ontario. It's the busiest corridor in Canada. We have good train service for a small community of only 22,000. We can look accross the river in front of our home and see New York State, USA. Again great job!
This is actually cool to watch. I like seeing all the different trains of different parts of the UK

They’re smooth to help with aerodynamics,older trains are more blocky because people didn’t figure out aerodynamics yet,

I love the video recorded at Stevenage! I was there the day the new station opened July 23rd 1973! My hometown!
My kid loves seeing trains passing by so he is ill so I placed this vid, loving it. Silly thing but as you shot from close the rolling shutter is very apparent, if you get a CCD camera, I've one ( the only ever produced model) compact sports one that records 1080 with global shutter. I can´t recall the name tho, is one of those action cams that has metal housing and fancy colours.
I love the First Great Western Livery 😍 unfortunately I don’t think now in 2021 that specific livery runs anymore 🥲 but at least people have taken videos in memory of those magnificent HSTs.
Certainly still exists on some turbos, particularly in the Bristol area.

Yeah, Weybridge is a great place to video trains going fast on the South Western Mainline, trains can go up to 90mph! But anyway, thanks for caring about what your subscribers think, and for doing what I and other people requested!
Thought the Birmingham - Gloucester line would be here, 90MPH Speed at Barnt Green onwards.

I understand you 3rd rails neater but in my opinion it makes trains look neater with a pantograph on top and facts
Overhead gives off 25k volts
3rd rail only gives around 700-750 volts
Your better using 25k volts so it's more efficient this is facts and my opinion please don't roast me

That's why they call it "Trains at Speed", my friend. Not "Trains that can go fast but stops at these here stations so they are slower", it doesn't have the same ring to it. Sorry, I am in a sarcastic mood ;)

the ones with the pendolinos going around a corner at a station is probably Wolverton. "The Wolverton bend". But yes it would be useful.

Hi friend from Japan! Are you sure you went on the Great Western Mainline to Glasgow, not the West Coast Mainline? Its because you can't get to Glasgow on the Great Western Mainline alone, but you can on the West Coast Mainline. And, yes, First Class on Virgin Trains is pretty amazing! Hope that helped!

the Virgin trains are confusing me. Are they diesel, electric, or both?
They have 2 types. A diesel 5 car train called a Voyager. Sometimes doubled together and run as 10 cars. Or the longer electric ones called Pendolino's which are 9 or 11 coaches long.

That's a First Capital Connect (now Thameslink) Class 377/5 running with a Southern 377/2, which at the time were on loan to FCC.
I think that is a Thameslink train at the front
It was another livery for Thameslink coupled to a southern
