My go to blazer outfit for spring. Heavy cotton navy blazer with gold buttons, three roll two buttoning, three patch pockets. This is paired with a denim western shirt, wide WWII chinos, white socks and penny loafers.

Absolutely classic piece yet very stylish, thanks Brian. I’d go for a double breasted look and unlined so it is also wearable in the summer, inspiration from Roger Moore’s Bond in for your eyes only or Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye.

It is good to see you. Are you on a new schedule with posts? I love the blazer looks. I remember when casual Friday started appearing in the late 80s. We came to work without a necktie, always wearing a blazer with tailored pants. It was so revolutionary. We felt like we were doing something dangerous. LOL. The old school rebelled. They jeered us saying that we were just trying to jumpstart heading to the clubs on Friday. I didn't fight them. They were right! Nice blazer and great looks as always. I should further shock my kids with white jeans with a roll at the cuff.

Good morning Brian, I'm part of that generation that grew up going to various children's department stores with my grandmother and mother for those essential pieces of clothing. I always had the hopsack blazer with brass buttons usually polo by Ralph Lauren or the traditional worsted wool version. Of course, always paired with the khaki chino or light gray to charcoal wool trousers. To fun seasonal patterns.
My go to was the Polo blazer most often markdown but after my income became elevated my indulgence moved towards my new favorite.... the Hickey Freman blazer. Would you say that your design or manufacturer would be in the same category?

You know what would make a good video - dog walking clothes and shoes.
Fabrics and styles. I have a problem when going to a dog park or just when I’m out with my dog cause I’ll always end up running around and playing but I also like dressing up and my clothes sometimes suffer from mud and dog hair

There is so much bits of information on mens style on the Internet and it can be confusing as to how a person can construct a wardrobe / clothes collection to suit a persons body shape / colouring and lifestyle. It would be very useful to have a mens style consultant / coach who could advise.

The pandemic has put fashion on hold. It’s all joggers and sweatshirts with masks from here on out. But I do like the pink shirt, white shoes combo.

outfit 1 ok as jeans look like chinos, outfit 2 great,outfit 3 TERRIBLE with pink shirt with jeans and sneakers, replace with blue or grey shirt, chinos and rubber sole suede slip ons.

Nothing casual about a blazer they don’t go with casual jeans.
I am 40 years old, work as a management consultant from home and have limited social opportunities. I would like to have an updated style… but don’t see the need for 99% of what you are showing in your videos. Your outfits only make sense if I am going somewhere to be seen. What advice do you have for normal people who may work from home and go do regular things like walking around their neighborhood, going to the grocery store or gym? I don’t have a need or desire to get dressed in a suit or blazer while working from home or any of your other outfits in my daily life? What do you have for normal men who don’t live in NYC or LA?
