Dimash just met David Foster in Los Angeles, if you’re unfamiliar with David, you might want to look him up. He has 16 Grammy’s, singer, composer and producer. He wrote I Have Nothing for Whitney Houston just for one example.

It was 2019 at Barclays Center. I was there. Three hours traveling through many music dimensions. ETHEREAL!
Ps: At the end of the concert he throwed the jacket to the Dears. Imagine the fight, but I was not the lucky one. I was sitting next to the stage. Next time I won't pay for a sit. Dears on the floor had more fun!😉Great reaction, as usual! Big hug from NY🎶♥️🎶

Hi and greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
I’m glad you have found your way to Dimash’s performances to experience his amazing talent! It really is one of a kind!
You’re now officially a Dear. (Dimash has named his fans “Dears” because they are dear to him. That should already tell you how humble he is.
You might’ve heard some of these following things already before but just in case you haven’t:
    • He started singing at age 5 and has trained every day since for a minimum of 4h per day.
    • He has at least 3 Master’s Degrees in music and defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score, and receiving a recommendation for admission to doctoral studies in music.
    • He plays at least 7 instruments
    • He has won 4 major singing competitions
    • He won the three-day vocal competition with a full jury score of 180 out of 180 points; the first time in the history of the contest.
    • He gave his first solo concert in the USA on 10 December 2019. The show was titled Arnau Envoy and took place at the Barclays Center in New York. The venue was sold out with 19,000 spectators from 63 countries.
    • In July Dimash announced his new concert tour Stranger to be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 at the Central Stadium in the city. The concert lasted 4.5h and it was filmed for his channel and can be found on his RUclips page in 3 parts. It was sold out. Audience members reported to be nearly 35,000 in attendance from 68 countries.
    • He was born May 24th 1994, which makes him 29 years in a few months.
    • He has performed songs in 13 different languages.
    • His range expands 6 octaves and 8 semitones. He sings from C2 to C6 to F#6 and, D8.
    • He has made numerous donations and acts of humanitarianism, far too many to list below.
Also.. I wanted to add that even though I believe there are many other songs that are important for you to hear, to experience all aspects of his talent but one of the most important ones is…
    The Story of One Sky
There are two videos or actually performances you should see. 1st one is most definitely The Story of One Sky Official Music Video, one of the most expensive music videos ever made if not the most expensive and after that, the 2nd video Watch his live performance of that song of/performance at his 4,5h long concert in Almaty. His performance of The Story of One Sky is in his Part 3 of the Almaty concert (found on his RUclips page!) at 25:35.
Before you do the reaction to his music video there’s tons of information you should have or if you decide blind react to it, then read the following information after watching it, but before giving your thoughts on it to have all the information!
Here is a few things to help understand all the aspects of the story of The Story of One Sky. It is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through, as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht to end the war in April 1945. Waldenburg was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? iowaculture.gov/history/education/educator-resources/primary-source-sets/world-war-ii/american-troops-move-through The imagery of the denouement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of his wife giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and life are both sacraments and are interwoven. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

My favourite performance of all time, he was having so much fun in New York.
Btw the jacket was custom made for him but as per usual he threw it into the audience at the end of the concert. The only jackets that haven't gone that way are the Swarovski crystal ones as they are worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Although he does often get compared to MJ I don't think he borrows his stage presence from anyone, he just has it, that natural charisma that makes him stand out. If you watch him anywhere, not just on stage but even in a room full of people, you are drawn to him automatically. As Dears we get to see a lot of things that don't appear on RUclips and he just has this calm, classy, quiet presence that instantly tells you he's someone quite special.

@mug, I was going to go to that concert I DID NOT CARE where I was going to sleep out there, how I was going to get there, nothing!! I literally was going to hitchhike from Albuquerque, NM to NY! I sadly wasn't able to go 😢 but with Dimash, it turned out to be a 3 day event, with the concert being the end of it🎉 (as a friend of mine was on live through each day and they were all given a bag of "Dimash stuff" and the people he'd brought played music, his family was there and meeting everyone etc etc etc!!! All of the extra things were free if you had a ticket to the concert and I believe it was something like people from 167? ish countries all came together in NY for him! ❤ and the tickets were like $47, $57 dollars general!!! I WILL NOT MISS THE ONE'S HE'S COMING BACK HERE TO DO IN CALI AND NY AGAIN!!! It was ALL LOVE with everyone!!! Ps, he started playing with the mic like that bc of ppl saying he was lip-syncing and he was using pre recorded tracks, etc! So he started doing that in a lot of his performances to show that it's really him singing it all live!😂..I did however get the chance to talk to him for just a sec though and he is the sweetest, most genuine, kindest, most humble etc...person to everyone all of the time! He is not putting on a 'front'. And he has a great sense of humor and plays around with everyone too! We'll never have another "Dimash" and I am just elated knowing that I got to be here for his journey! #DEARS4LIFE💋😘❤🎉😇🎶🎶🎶

You cannot borrow charisma from anyone. It either exists or it doesn't. Dimash has both charisma and looks. And he is a unique vocalist.
Sorry, but comparing Jackson with Dimash is a mockery of Jackson (may he rest in peace).

@Amethyst....Dimash technically has a far more complete voice than MJ had.

He will be legendary for sure. Hopefully not like Mariah Carey though. There are tons of people (like myself) who find her voice annoying and shrill. Comparisons to MJ and Whitney are more apt (though hopefully not as tragic in the end).
