Hey there! My husband and I will be traveling from Atlanta, GA in the US to Dubai. We have a 12hr/14hr layover on both flights and want to do London the right way. I’ve watched a bunch of your videos and they are very informative! We will be there all day on Boxing day 12/26 and then again in 1/3 (2023/2024). Can you suggest videos you already have or are planning to make? Activities we are planning - Black History Walk, Traditional sights (tower bridge, etc…), Shopping, maybe a west end show or underground cinema, afternoon tea, pub for fish and chips. We do not know what’s best so this plan can certainly change. Any tips/help will be appreciated. 😅😎🥰
Hi! I've seen some of your videos about London and it really helps me a lot in preparing. Thank you for this video in particular, because I will be visiting London in Winter (I'm a tropical girl) and it would be my first winter trip. Xx
We are planning a trip for next November and I was wondering when does London start decorating for Christmas? I'd love to see all the Christmas decorations. And thank you for all the helpful videos!!!
I can not wait u til I try ice skating and I can not wait until I move from Nassau, Bahamas to the UK to live for good and I can not wait until I try out new things in the UK
Just ideas! Hope to share this video on my new Christmas blog/you tube. Early days but will be in touch. Love Harrods but prefer Liberty's Christmas shop. Saw you speak at Winter Workshop. Great advice!
+LadyBug Home Ah hello! Thanks so much for watching. Good luck with getting going with your channel, let me know if you have any questions, I know that I talk really fast and went over a lot :)
+Love and London Yeah people go there on winter too:) It can be very cold and windy but It's different to normal icy cold in other countries. Wind makes it so cold.
HI Jess, thanks for the amazing info! I'm planning a solo trip to London this winter and was wondering if it'd be better to come for Christmas or before/after... Do you have any suggestions?
First off, LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! No nonsense and super informative! We are heading to London in less than three weeks for our honeymoon! We are staying at the Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard. I would love to know what restaurant would be your top choice for a not ridiculously expensive, but nice dinner for us to do one night. Also, you mentioned a spa day! We really want to do that but our hotel doesn't really have a spa, just a few services they offer in room, but holy cow, way out of our budget. Do you have a reasonably priced spa you could suggest that we could go to one day during our trip? We have Les Mis tickets, Somerset House ice skating tickets, and Russell Brand at Assembly Hall Theatre tickets already, so we will be all over the city. Any other tips or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have lots of other questions I would love to ask if you have the time and a better means of contacting you. 😊 Thank you in advance for any help you can give and for making my trip prep way better than it was before I found your videos!
Hi Kali! Thanks so much :) Early congrats on your wedding/honeymoon. The Shangri-La will be amazing, I hope to able to stay there one day. Here are some of my favourite food spots in London: loveandlondon.com/7-food-spots-in-london-worth-visiting/ For deals on spas in London, try Last Minute, they even have a sale on right now: fave.co/1mDw1xk For other tips, watch through all of my London tip videos in this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL6u96nZN-L_bjBvhTdAYvq0EpL3y-At9C Have a great time!!
I love your blog. I will be celebrating my 50th birthday with my family in December 2019 and am struggling to find something unique to do with them. I would love to have a true 'experience" that doesn't cost the world. Hope you can help.
Hi Yolanda, thank you so much. I'd be happy to have a call with you, find out what you're looking for and suggest some very special experiences based on your budget and tastes. You can book a Trip Planning Call with me here: loveandlondon.com/london-trip-planning-consultations/
Heya ! Your videos are so helpful. I have some questions. I'm from India and studying here from last 2 months now we have Christmas break and I want to explore UK. But the condition is I'm alone. Where to start ?
I'm planning on coming over to watch the NFL Football Game, Mid to late October. We'd like to stay for at least a week, or two. My wife is coming & we'd really love to see the country, possibly even Ireland, Wales, Scotland, & a Train ride to Paris. Love your Tips, & wondering if you have any travel tips for us Yankees coming over for an American Football Game.
+VikingKen84 hey Ken! You know I always forget to get tickets so I've never made it to one of the games, so can't offer much, so sorry! You'll have fun though. There's a big NFL parade that you should go see !
Hi Jess! So Im traveling to London for spring break and I really want to experience afternoon tea. I was wondering if have to book in advance or can you simply walk in? Also, how fancy is afternoon tea?
We are coming to lux convention in Brighton on Jan 15 then to London on Jan 21st to 30 First time in London ☺ from Seattle Washington so I think we have kind of same weather ( rain) Recommendation where we should go or see? Thanks very much
How early do winter festivities typically begin in London? I'm coming to visit the last week of November, and I'm wondering if I may be able to catch the start of some of these activities you mentioned!
+HeyItsRilee Great question-- you'll be able to catch some but not all. For example, Winter Wonderland will be open then. Things that are "winter" themed as opposed to Christmas will probably be open by then, but the Christmas-y stuff usually kicks off in December. You'll be able to check Time Out once it gets closer to see what's open when you're here. Hope that helps :)
We are going to be in London November 10 11th and 12th. Are any of these things going on in mid November? If no, is there anything cool to do mid November?
Yes some of them are. Also-- What to do in November in London video is coming next week. Make sure you're subscribed so you see it when it's published :)
visited paris some days ago, couldnt help but appreciate london all the better! paris is really overatted! and whats up with the brown and dull buildings everywhere? I will pick bricks anytime anyday over some painted (already washing away) concrete! love london!!
I don't exactly like *live* in London ok I don't live in London I live in the west but pretty close to London, I normally just go there in class trips (everyone GO ON THE LONDON EYE THE VIEW IS AWESOME!!!) and stuff but I have had chances to go with family and it's awesome! Thanks! I live like an hour away and this sounds fun to do in the Christmas holidays when there's no school
Great!

My top thing to do in London during the winter is not leave my bed!

Hi Jess! So Im traveling to London for spring break and I really want to experience afternoon tea. I was wondering if have to book in advance or can you simply walk in? Also, how fancy is afternoon tea?
+Cate Sweeney depends on where you go! Try to book in advance if you can. Dress up a little nicer, although some are more casual.
I wanna try afternoon tea but it's little expensive for me. Could you recommend more cheaper afternoon tea cafe? Thank you in advanve😀
Hi there, I have a lot of recommendations for afternoon tea in The Local Guide to London: loveandlondon.com/the-local-guide-to-london
