Matoma is getting feeling of a human voice hitting a note so pure like a well tuned instrument and it can bring tear. And also the fact he sees the emotion in music, sounds, tones, lyrics, etc..
So for me. For all of the voice shows that I watch around the globe…American here…lover of all kinds and genres of music, Norway is my favorite of all music programs. It’s the judges. It’s the talent for sure. But these judges are the biggest fans of their industry. They are still learning and studying their craft. They are in awe of these singers. They humbly lean into the performances and you can see their hearts the entire time. If music is their religion then this stage is their church and I love that!
I’m in the states and I look forward to The Voice Norway more than any other. The judges are exceptional but Matoma is by far my favorite of all the judges on any of the Voice programs. What a human being. Norway has some amazing talent!

First I want to say how much I love Voice Norway! "Dancing in the Dark" was very touching! I don't know the name of the judge although I watched him before...but his face shows how deeply committed he is to really :"listening" and it touches me also. I,m from England,but i love the voice Norway! I,d be like the judge on the end in the blue shirt,i too get very emotional when i hear certain songs. The best for me there was the guy singing Dancing in the dark.
The Voice of Norway for sure is special - also because of the judges. Really love to watch the episodes! And the guy who sang the prayer - what brought Matoma to cry - so beautiful and touching! But everyone in their own rights was amazing. The Billie Eilish song in this different version, extremely beautiful!

Norway you are a blessed country, it is unbelievable what fantastic voices come from your country. i have my absolute favourites, of course, firstly my number 1 worldwide angelina jordan, who i have had to listen to every day since i discovered her more than 2 years ago and secondly, aurora who is also a fantastic songwriter and singer.
