Hi Rj Will be going to elnido this coming july 1. I only have time for 2 tours though. Which combination of 2 tours from ABC would you recommend? Thank you!
Been watching your vlogs before we went to El nido June 18 to 21 though kabalo n ko asa mi mag stay but i was surprised we stayed exactly sa same room n gi stayhan nyo. Looking forward for more vlogs amping!!
Hey RJ, I'm going to El Nido in a few months and I wanna be prepared so I have few questions for you. If you could answer them that would be awesome! But before that, I would like to say that I started watching you from your El Nido vlogs and the quality of your videos are top notch. Like very good. You keep doing your thing and you'll get big, I'm sure of it. Now onto the questions: 1) When applying for S-Pass, it prompts you to enter a Philippine phone number. I have a US phone number so how did you do this? Did you get a new sim card and enter that number? 1.1) And how long before your departing flight did you apply for the S-Pass? 2 days before? A couple hours before? 2) Out of all of the island hopping tours so far, which one is your favorite? 3) The flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa allows a 7KG carry-on and I believe a personal item that can fit under the seat. How strict was your airline on weighing your carry-ons and would a medium backpack be allowed for a personal item under the seat? I know it depends on the airlines and the people checking you in, most of the time, but I would just like to know what your experience was. 4) Lastly, do you have any tips or advice you would have liked to know before your trip to El Nido, or travel tips in general? Maybe this can be a good video idea hehe That's all....for now. I look forward to your future videos.
Hey! First off I just want to say you're in for a treat with El Nido and thank you for the kind words! So glad you enjoy the vlogs! Here's to answer your questions: 1) What you can do is you can get a sim card when you arrive here with a globe or smart number. You can easily get this at the airport or some 7/11 convenience store. When you get the sim card, you get a Philippines number. I'd suggest doing this over using your American number because it's just cheaper and less hassle. 1.1) I applied for the S-pass within 24 hours from my flight because I had to submit an antigen test that was only valid for 24 hours. However, they removed that requirement now and I think as long as you submit the Spass and get approved before your flight, at any time, you'll be good. 2) I was able to do A, B, & C. For sure, hands down, my favorite would be tour C. I mean not only were the weather conditions in our favor, but just the scenery and the places you get to visit in tour C was really out of this world. Tour A comes in a close 2nd, but I did wish we had better weather when we went. Tour B is more of that relaxed tour if you just want to swim and chill. Not as intense. So if you were only to do 1 tour, I say C is the way to go. 3) In terms of checking in, we went with cebu pac and I had a huge backpack that i carried with me that was over 7kg. The thing though was that my backapack was mostly gadgets. They didn't weigh it, but if they did, I think they would let me slide even if ti was over 7kg since it was all gadgets. I also brought a small lunch bag size as my personal and they didn't really question me on that. I also brought a waist bag so i guess I went over the personal item limit, but I was able to get away with it. Now my experience might be different from yours, but that's what happened to me. 4) Some tips that I would say is make sure you bring enough cash, but there are atms there. They just take out a fee. Bring a dry bag for your water adventures. You can basically negotiate for anything and everything when it comes to purchasing items there. Be careful of the people on the beach that try to sell you stuff because they tend to overcharge like crazy. Get a motor for transportation. If there's a lot of you guys, get a car and just negotiate the price per day. If I missed anything, I probably mentioned it in my vlogs in some way haha. Hope this helps and again thanks for watching the vlogs and your support :)
sorry to butt in haha. i think it's better to book thru a travel agency if you have a lot of concerns. My friends booked with Captain Travel (on facebook). They spent honeymoon in El Nido, 5Days. They said very worth it daw.
When will be your trip? You don’t need antigen test as long as you’re fully vaccinated. I’m here at El Nido atm. If you’re alone you can rent a bike, go to nacpan beach and watch the sunset.
@@regieb502 my trip is in June. I think ill be prepared. Hopefully the restrictions will be even less than it is now and yes, im fully vaccinated. How quick was your S-pass process for signing up? And for renting the bikes, do you need a license and how much was the rental? Your response would be greatly appreciated 🙏
They are actually different prices brotha! I was only able to do tour C, A, and B. I forgot their prices from the top of my head but I listed them in the video. :) Thank you also and I'm so happy to hear that :)
@@rj_travelnchill oh, thanks. I actually bought the latest one (GoPro10) but can't really figure out preferred settings for the video to make it look nice. Is there some sort of settings that need to be done? sorry for the question though haha nindut mn gud kuha nimo sa Gopro, as in :)
Stayed in Cliffside cottages. I would recommend it because it was such a convenient location. El Nido beach was like a 7-10 min walk. The family running it is really nice too :)
I think maka discount kayo po nang conti. Pero dapat sa cliffside nyo e book yung tour. Kalimutan ko mag kano pero nasa vlog sya po since i listed the costss
Tour B is such chill vibes wow 🙌
Bro im glad it was cuz if it was as hectic as tour a & c, i would be really beat up. Then we did taraw the day after 😂
Great moments. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much :)

I read C was the best as well, guess it boils down to personal decision..
