Arzola is 21 and his rivals is 29,so it was older (as was Jalolov, when he fougt the cuban).Arzola lost for the gold, but he got silver at 21,so for a very young heavy, the potential is there.(But some haters will say, cubans boxers are mens and their rival are kids)
Indeed, you're right, cubans used to become champions very early in their AM career,at 18,19 or 20 years old,but since they remained amateurs and didn"t cross to proffessional ranks, many of them, perfected their craft up until late 20 and as happened with Robeysis Ramirez,Olymipic Champion at 18,his 2nd gold medal, was still at a young age.(But cubans never did use excuses ,because of their older counterparts,as some sore looser boxers and media did ,back at the time)
I really enjoy, the technical elegance of the cuban boxers, they are as effectives as visually appealling.
Arzola is a pleasure to watch.
