So Is the paint protection under the wrap for extra protection against damage from rocks and such without compromising the matte finish of the wrap? If not, then why? Just because he has money to burn? Legitimately curious.

We’ve done 6 of these cars for Kanye almost the exact same way. There was 2 in the shop at once during the filming of this video. You’ll notice small difference with things like interior color, and small trim differences on the outside
The purpose of the wrap is to protect the paint. As you already know this is a Lamborghini can you imagine how much it would cost to repaint it. For stupid scratches from rocks and road debris. It’s cheaper to wrap it then to paint it. Plus if there’s some crazy color you want to try you can do that to as you see these guys did it pretty quickly without damaging the original paint. Making its resale major selling point.
Vinyl wrap does not offer any protection against rock chips. We applied the ppf to protect the paint and the vinyl wrap was put on top for the cosmetic change.
Tons of man hours to dull the finish of the car only to spend a few more hours trying to "shine" it back up in the end. Makes perfect sense to me.🤔 #Ruined
