How can you not love this? So good. First saw Bonnie at Sunfest in WPB, FL. Didn't even know who she was, but as we approached the main stage, we heard this incredible talent. Soon realized I'd heard her on the radio and by pure luck, had visited the festival at just the right moment. Love her!
IMO it has alot less swag and the tones are worse haha to me just showed how rigged the music system is that the Landreth Bros didn't and don't just get the grammys lol
@@crosbycofod5052 Don’t disagree, but I bet Bros will make a million off the sale of this song, and the door is open to sell more. My late Bride would bust into dance every time Bonnie or SRV was playing, and we had the blues playing all day & all night in the background. My wife would be deep into a work issue on the computer, but nothing made her move like hearing Bonnie. We’d dance in the living room, and she’d make me play more Bonnie, until we couldn’t dance anymore. Those were very, very good times.
I was at Bonnie’s Georgetown University Concert in April 1973. 49 years ago..I was 20 she was 24. I remember her voice, her slide guitar and her flaming red hair. I remember thinking ..it doesn’t get better than this…almost 50 years later, I discover yes, it can..love you Ms Bonnie..

Many years ago I was in the front row for my third Bonnie R. concert in 2 years. I was with my girlfriend and a bit embarrassed because Bonnie seemed to be flirting with me as she performed. After a bit she introduced her BF and sound technician to the audience. He was set up directly behind me.
Just bought your new album - love all of it. Excellent music, lyrics and playing - as always! Congratulations on your new album Bonnie. I’m looking forward to seeing you in September at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California!❤️🎸
Bonnie will be in good company, as my last concerts were Paul McCartney and then Van Morrison. I am trying to see everyone that I love before they leave this plain on Earth.
The older i get the younger she stays! How does a country star captivate a guy raised on soul music? I know, she may play country, but she plays it SOULfully.
Bonnie is not known as a country artist. She started out nearly 50 years playing the blues and her music has always reflected that, whether rock, folk, Americana, reggae, or ballads. She is a great talent!
Bonnie Raitt has always been a blues star, and played with the best. She has even been voted best blues guitarist a few times. Her style maybe flows over to some other types of music but I would not ever call Bonnie Raitt a country singer ✌❤🌻

@Bonnie Raitt Ms. Raitt, you've been a favorite for a long time. Your guitar work is good but your voice is one in lifetime. I could always pick your voice out and I always loved your song selection. You picked (or wrote) songs that you made your songs - no matter who else ever sang them! I think the way to say it is that when you sang, your soul showed! Way to shine!
Best Live Concert of ALL Time: Jackson MS - Saenger Theater - on a Wednesday night - early 1070's Little Feat and Bonnie - there was less than a hundred people who showed - Little Feat came on first and rushed through a lack-luster let's-get-this-over performance - Bonnie followed; came on stage, and opened with " Well, thank both of y'all for coming " and laughed - proceeded to gather everyone there to the front of the stage - sat on the edge of the stage with her feet dangling off and got real close and personal - soon had several people from the audience sitting on stage with her and playing various instruments they had brought - then about half of Little Feat came out and joined in - it became a jamsession which lasted till the Saenger folks turned off the power and ran us out with just the emergency lighting on - absolutely wonderful
Hoy es mi día de suerte por dos motivos: porque de nuevo he empezado a trabajar y porque ha salido el videoclip oficial del primer single de mi Bonnie Raitt 😍😍😍😍😍
I saw Bonnie in 1970 in Andover, Massachusetts. I asked her then if she had any recordings out, and she said, "oh, no, I'm nowhere near that stage yet." That fall, when I entered college in Philadelphia, she opened for Cat Stevens at a concert at my school. I had never heard of Cat Stevens, but I went there to see Bonnie. All my fellow students were thoroughly confused when I said I was there to see Bonnie, and not some dude named Cat Stevens. They all asked, "who in the world in Bonnie Raitt?" I said, "Just listen to her sing. You'll see." They ALL understood after the concert. I understand there was some booze and some dope along the way.A Grammy or two as well. Fifty-two years is a long time. But she STILL is "THE" voice. Big Red still has it.
