Tommy mate It's Sirius Blueray's producer Sean. We listened to this heartfelt song twice. You deserved the round of applause. Sirius said it was beautiful and from the heart. I agree and would add that the chord progressions made the song strong and it's uniquely you but I detected John Lennon influences even though it may not have been purposely. It's a great song no bull and thanks for posting it

Thanks so much for the lovely feedback. I'm a magpie, I pick up influences everywhere, but I see where you're coming from with the Lennon reference. Funnily enough, it was Brandy Alexanders that got him into trouble in 1974 (georgetowner.com/articles/2018/10/10/cocktail-month-brandy-alexander/). As you like the solo version, have a listen to the harmonies and strings on the album version - it's one of my favourites among my own tracks - ruclips.net/video/zl_UiuArqcY/видео.html )

Thanks I read the full article and listened to the song. Yes it's interesting that it was Brandy Alexanders that got him into trouble and kicked out of a club. Throwing a punch and glass is more Did Vicious behaviour not John Lennon. That's the problem with liquors I have overdone it with Bailey's in the past which sounds like a similar drink. The studio version of the song was great and of course it's the same song. Gigging or recording both do it for me and the recorded version was again uniquely you. You do have your own sound which is important in my opinion. You have a style of your own that often has a bit of bounce and is full of flair with rock n roll, blues and country influences but as I have said it's you. We have heard you on other radio shows as we are waist deep in the independent music community for nearly all this year. Sirius definitely likes you and when I went into the living room last week she said this is Tommy Keyes. Goodan I shall leave you be. Finally as folk, including yourself, are putting us on Spotify playlists I had to learn to do it myself as a way of promoting Sirius but also to thank the folk that have helped us. I included two tracks of yours and the list is certainly a little different as the people who have helped are from all walks of life, different countries and cultures. I don't know if you are aware of the playlist so I am dropping it here. All the best mate from Sirius and I

My favourite song from you Tommy. The Augmented chord change gives it the Lennon comparison, but it's more the troubadour Waits that shadows it for me. These are just reference comparisons. It's a great song
