THat would have been nice a couple months ago before I bought the SDI tool but oh well... I do plan on tearing my trans out to gear it down so the SDI tool will be nice when that time comes, of course I suspect your tool would have done the job then as well..
The SDI is a great tool that is for sure, with all the spacing issues we see and all the noisy secondary clutches we needed to do something for this group. You have a great tool!! I didn't know I was making this then.
Will the locking plate you sell work with this alignment tool? I took a measurement center to center on my clutch bolts and I am far from 10.5 inches. Mine came out closer to 10.75. I already ordered your thick belt and secondary roller package.
@@Hunterworks I have a spare factory polaris belt. Once, I install your thick belt and washer will the factory polaris belt be able to used as a back up with the thick washer installed?
I'm not understanding why these have to be aligned? Does any other maker have a transmission that needs to be aligned? Serious question, sorry for the lack of knowledge.
Would it be too much to ask for Polaris to build something that doesn’t require constant repairing, replacing, fixing, upgrading and going over? This all started with the trail boss 250 back in the 80’s and they never looked back, or forward much either. I’m not going to mention their 3 wheeler, that was a whole other disaster that was avoided
I actually find them very reliable and I have had a few of them with no major issues. I follow some other lines vehicles supposedly reliable like Yamaha and I see them with all kinds of issues too. Want a super reliable UTV, get a Kubota Diesel it will last forever but I hate them,
@@Hunterworks If you find Polaris very reliable you either drive them easy or have very little experience with motorsports. I've been in this for over 30 years and I can honestly say Polaris is by far the most overrated brand in the off road business. With that said, I wouldn't say anything good or bad about their snowmobiles since I have no experience with those. But hey, If people are happy with a overpriced product then by all means spend away and enjoy. Now I have to replace three rear driveshafts on two 2019 highlifter 10000's and a 2019 highlifter 850. all three are less than 3 months old. and yes, they're under warranty. but it takes a bit to put the paperwork through so I tell everyone to buy one and have it on hand for a spare and swap them out while you're waiting for a warranty replacement.
@@HeyDude93gt Maybe your issues are driver related, I have three now, have had 7 of them eve raced cross country in a RZR 900, only thing happened to me on the trail was broke a rear axles on a ranger 1000 trying to pull a 12ft duck blind out of a muddy rice field. They sell 4 times as many as the #2 seller for a reason. I have blown one belt on one, it was my fault. Had almost forgot about that, but it was 100% my fault, don't jump 50ft with a EBS helix
How far should the clutch alignment tool go on the primary clutch shaft. I got a 2019 General 1000 it's only going on not even halfway and the back clutch shaft has some play in on the tool?
That answer should be in this video and the pic on the thumbnail shows that too. The only concern I have is the play in the secondary, take short video or pic or something to show me that and send to me, via todd@hunterworks.com
Michael T if we offered any products for it other than a belt or Duraclutch we would. Other issue is access to one. Don’t know anyone around here with one.
Once again Todd you are helping us out by making things that work on our machines and for less money. Will be ordering one today!
John Schander thanks
Im always looking forward to your new products and videos, great job!!

Yes the plate is not connected to a tool, just locks it in place once aligned. 1/4" is a long way off

I found my answer on one of your other videos. Keep up the great work and thank you for all the informational videos.

Do you have a video on a 2012 900 belt
alignment how to adjust
Assuming you mean RZR XP, that is our next tool, waiting on test tool now, XP in our shop now
Straight shooter. I found this looking for Polaris PU-45497, you got any for the 14 800s?
Thanks for the comment but an 800 doesn’t need any tools I just don’t have a video on that I’m sorry
