I wish to thank the professor for showing me how to perform this amazing piece of magical art over 50 years ago at the Magic Castle. He was strict, but an amazing teacher. Thank you, Dai!

Even knowing the secret to this trick, it is inspiring to see it done in the hands of Dai Vernon - poetry in motion!

In Las Vegas with my family I was 13 we went to a magic show and the guy pulled a tiger and women out of the box and that was kind of cool but the most magical part was he banged two of those big rings against each other and then on the third try it just silently slipped through and they were linked and it was just the most incredible thing.

These need to be re-uploaded in better quality. In 2008 youtube had limits on quality and resolution. .

It’s not the RUclips quality it’s the fact it’s a terrible VHS rip.

I mean it was alright…but super noisey and really annoying, because all he did was link and unlink, but it wasn’t entertaining at all. Just an old man with noisy rings. Keep it down grandpa the kids are sleeping!

you were paying so much attention to the rings that you didnt even notice his taint sag down to the floor like silly putty. thats why they call em' the professor!

Typical TV host. All about him, trying to pull focus.
