I met Jay once at Magic Inc. I was buying some pictures of magicians (among other things) and I bought one of Jay. They asked if I wanted it autographed, and of course I said yes. Jay came out and autographed the picture for me. A very nice man.
Very professional. This is how you entertain. The Magic is not in what you do but how you do it. Here is a perfect example. Glad this clip is posted. Katie, my dear, it's because of the joy that Master Marshall exhibits while he plays to his audience. I've seen other 'Magicians' & there are those who quite frankly have lost that sense of play. The rings are quite beauitful to watch, no doubt, but require experienced hands and a bright & wondrous mind :)

So much more entertaining than the clip I just watched of Vernon doing the rings. Both old men but jay marshall is a real performer.
Yeah Vernon wasn’t a successful performer at all. His stuff should be appreciated in a technical level but everything taken with a grain of salt.
