Thank you so much. I watch many bird videos and as beautiful as some of them are, they never give you the names of the birds. I always say "Who are you?" I want to know all the bird species in the world someday. Being a disabled woman, sadly, I will never get to get outside my state but I'm always excited when I know a bird's name or at least its species. I found true bird lovers see birds everywhere. When I'm in the car with someone and I say, "DId you see that American Goldfinch?" People are like...."Eh, I didn't even see any birds today." It cracks me up. Thank you so much for this. I love Cornell. Next is trying to learn the calls and identify birds by their calls. A great invention would be something with the call of a bird and then someone saying the name of the bird. And then a way to test yourself. THAT would be a great invention. That and more videos like these. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this guide to the birds of the Panama fruit feeder. I’ve been watching the live cam for a couple of days (after a great friend sent me the link) and managed to identify a few birds by searching clumsily on the internet, but this makes identification so much easier. I do hope I’ll get to see some of the other beauties featured here! Thank you again for making this video.
I've watched this feeder live multiple times, but have never seen more than a few species & nothing I've recognized til this video. Thanks so much for sharing & doing such a great job identifying them, learned alot!
Thank you for sharing, this is a beautiful taken video...very much appreciated especially for taking the time and effort to name the birds...so thoughtful of you. Much Blessings on your continuous work...
Thanks for having this video of the birds, and the timestamps to see them. I was thinking you used to have a PDF of all of the species - including the mammals and reptiles that visit. I saw a tiny bat around 5:50 21 Aug. Tiny bat! And was looking to try and figure out what it was.
Hello Cornell Lab Bird Cams, this video is awesome, I've seen many of these species in the few months I've been watching the feedercam live, and almost of them on visits to the Canopy Family lodges. One comment: At 4:30 on the video you see a Chestnut-headed Oropendola, but the label says Variable Seedeater, which is nowhere to be seen.
At around 8:18 in the video - you hear a bird call that sounds like an annoying car alarm that doesn't go off. Anyone know what the bird is? We live in Bocas del Toro, Panama and I have a few that stop by.

I am so grateful that you are there to help us understand the beauty in this world that we do not see!!
I'm going to Panama in April. I enjoy birding here in the US but don't know anything about Panamanian birds; this helped me learn. Thank you Cornell!
I love birds! The Red Legged Honeycreeper was my fav, but they are all so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Like VH1's old PopUp Video, but for birds. I'm loving the timestamps for species and the highlights / arrows / circles on the video.
All of them are beautiful.
