I own a t595 and looked at adding this setup for a few reasons but I haven't because I want the bugs to be worked out before I do get it. My question is why dose Bobcat view this as a feature! I get the concept but why? What uses was this designed for and why? Thanks
We have had a couple customers purchase this who do not have laborers that work with them. It makes it easier for them to lay pavers for example by themselves as the machine becomes a faithful work dog. There are other applications in mining and dangerous operational situation in demo Etc.

Will Bobcat have a remote available, would be nice to have a remote with sticks for positive feel. Don't like the phone touch screen remote, looks like it would be very easy to have unintentional machine movement.
Bobcat has been talking recently of a partnership with Microsoft for an xbox type controller or the xbox controller itself.... I got to use one of these at an R&D event and it was extremely smooth (on the xbox controller). As an avid gamer I agree about the touch screen being too easy to manipulate incorrectly... However when we drove this on our phones it didn't feel very unwieldy or awkward. I still agree that a stand alone controller would be better. Bobcat does have its own controller that is more rugged and less sexy than an xbox controller but that is a different and more pricey system. www.bobcat.com/eu/attachments/remote-control/specs-options

So where is the xbox style controller that was shown in the survey that we all filled out? The phone is a joke and a gimmick, no real control for a experienced operator. We want analog controls, what happens when you get a call in the middle of using your phone to control the loader?
Agreed! We used that controller in January 2020 at a demo and we assure you it was as slick as could be! Looking forward to this coming more into mainstream!
@@UpstateEquipment It shows that a bluetooth controller can be added from the demo at the show, Do you know how to do this through the app? I dont see a function to add the controller. I fly rc and drones , its usually a function in the app Thanks

@@andrewwelborn2538 That's a great question. Bobcat has currently only released news or the T76 with the promise of larger more powerful units in the near future. For now the t870 m series remains the unchallenged largest and most powerful Bobcat trackloader.

Machine has several auto shutoffs and safety shutdown procedures. When it loses connection with the app the machine locks up and won't move. Even if that failed the machine has an emergency remote kill switch as well as a manual killswitch afixed atop the rear tailgate. (slapswitch) Hope that helps.
Can this be used to run the Bobcat concrete pump without a Bobcat skid steer?
Can you run implements, brush hog, snow blower etc
Yes you can!
It is great!
So my 2021 T770 says it's "RC Ready", does that mean I can download the app and go or do I still need this harness deal? Thanks
You can download the app but you will need the accessory to operate remote! Thanks for the interest!
Did you ever test to see if it worked or did you need to buy the accessory and if so what part

No public word from Bobcat on this yet though it is expected in the near future!
What’s the part number/price for the kit?
Sorry for the wait! 7417974 and $2500 is the general price but factory is out of stock at the moment.
