An ally is not always someone that agrees with you. I don't know why some people are gay, why some people have the urge to dress as the opposite gender, why some feel that they are another gender, but one thing I do know, and that's there is such a thing as gender. Many people fail to grasp the role of either. They don't dig deep enough. Some people feel that being a housewife is the same as being a slave. When you're a child, and your mother cleans the house, cooks your meal, helps with homework, and cares for you in such a tender, attentive, and empathetic way that cannot be matched, you just know that your father could not do the same, even if he cut off his genitals and pumped himself full of estrogen. It takes a lot more than estrogen to make a woman. We are born with it, this intuition. Men have a beautiful mind, and I love my father and my brothers for it. They ground me, center me, help me to see things in a different, straightforward way. And I help them to connect things where they might not have seen a connection. The point is, some people may be confused, and I sympathize, because the world I come from is perfect the way it is, and I wish everyone could experience that stability. There's no need to dismantle something that works. This is not a question of individuality. Everything that makes us unique and special usually happens on the surface. Inside, we are all very much the same. I believe our genders are much deeper than just our physical makeup. even if someone could eventually scientifically warp our brain, or configure it in such a way that it would align perfectly with someone of the opposite gender (and that's a big if), and supposing that they could reconstruct the body to match all required criteria of the opposite gender (because males and females have such a different skeleton and muscle and fat distribution), there are still moral issues that come into play. Much like the oldest child in the family deserves to receive the inheritance from the parents, male deserves to serve as the lead in the family. This is something that is believed even in atheistic countries. Males have a more logical mind, and in the long run it is better at making decisions that benefit everyone. This is not degrading to women, just as it is not degrading to employees that they are not the boss. Everybody cannot be the boss. In America the boss is the child, then the wife, and the father is the slave. This is the opposite of how it has been for millennia in every culture, and there is a very good reason for why it has been that way, because it works. You can read the statistics to see how well the American family unit is holding up. To get back to the topic, people have gender roles for a reason, and there is no reason for a relatively few to dismantle it because it doesn't fit in with who they think they are. We all know that the majority of mankind cannot be trusted to accurately describe who they are.

People aren't gay because they're confused, they're gay because they like other men and other women, pretty simple.
